Ok I am ready now-it's snowing!

good morning guys - this seriously made me laugh out loud !
Yup, it's snowing here in central MA too ! yuck, yuck
I just went through the closet and picked out something warm for DS to wear on the way home - dont want to take winter jackets but i found a down vest im gonna have him try on when he gets home from school
After we get off the plane at 930pm (the day we get off the ship), we have to get on a shuttle to get to our cold car! We're gonna be freezing - and then we get into a cold house (maybe a neighbor can turn on the heat)
But yup, while we are sunning ourselves in the warm warm tropics having our konk koolers our neighbors will be drinking hot chocolate - cant wait to get on my float at castaway cay
just keep thinking tropics tropics everyone and we will get through the next few weeks

It dipped down into the low 20's last night and we got our first "measurable" snow of the year. I am sooo ready for those Konk coolers and the warm tropical breezes!
Of course, about a month and a half ago we were all whining...er um, I mean MENTIONING that it was an awfully hot summer, and wouldn't some cooler weather be nice? Be careful what we wish for eh?

Without sounding TOO much like I'm gloating, it's still too hot here in Florida - LOL! But I remember what it was like up there. Lived for 5 years in Rochester, NY and grew up in PA. Now, I'm wishing for cooler weather here -- doesn't seem like it's almost November. When we come home from our Disney cruises, sometimes it seems hotter here than in the Caribbean!

But seriously, I'm glad you guys can look forward to a little respite from the cold and snow. Enjoy your cruises and when you come back to Jack Frost, look forward to your next Magical cruise -- cause you KNOW you're gonna be on another one...

Last Thursday we sat in "little ice cubes" for football (sleet for the uninitiated) and we haven't seen the sun in two weeks. More of the same is on the way for the foreseeable future. It looks like a long winter. Wish we could get away but can't. We did a couple years ago and it just seemed to make winter that much longer.

We haven't picked up our pumpkins yet, but we made a SNOWMAN today! My 16 month old was NOT impressed with the snow, but my 3 year old was in heaven!

I would love to see a little snow! Then it can go away before we leave. Last December it was so warm here that we didn't need coats when we went to airport for our Magical Journey....Ahhhhh drinks with little straws!!! Sailing away again in Margaritaville.....cool! I forgot about Buffett's Margaritaville Store! Oh, come on January!!!!!

We cruised in January of 2000 and while we were away there was a major snow storm. Just the thought of going homewas not good. When we turned onto our street, boy what a surprise. The neighbors had shoveled our driveway for us and turned on our heat, and greated us with snacks at their house. It pays to be friendly to everyone around you.
