ok I am lost

Are these good walking shoes? Like could I get away with wearing them to the park one day, or are they more for going to the water park and such?

I know I'll probably get flamed for this but, don't waste your money on Crocs! It took me months to finally get a pair (Nile model), very bad customer service. When they finally came, my mother and I both hated them!! Tried wearing them before we left for our trip to break them in to no avail. We never wore them the whole time, just were not comfortable. They're just sitting in my closet now, a waste of 30 bucks. We both wore Nike flip-flops and our feet never hurt!!

You can find those crocs at many local athletic stores...they may not be the real "crocs", but they look exactly the same.

DH and I thought they were water-shoes until I read this thread!

the nile shoes by all accounts (CROCS) are the least comfortable.
Crocs are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever ever had. Whats more.. they have changed my park touring life. My feet no longer hurt... ever!!!
This year I am not even taking any other shoes with me... only crocs (of course... different colours!)

Don't forget the BodyGlide too! If you have problems with chaffing it works wonders! YOu can pick it up at running shops.

I am an RN and just bought a pair of shoes called Nothinz from the slipperstore.com They are very similar to Crocs but even more comfortable, IMHO! I tried Crocs but these are better...same price around $30. Just thought I'd let you all know! Kathy :earsgirl:

PS....As an added benefit, part of the money from the sales of these shoes goes to fund research for Pediatric Leukemia (Alex's Lemonade Stand, for those who have heard of it.)

No flames here. I'd have to almost agree with you. Before my trip this past May I had bought Teva Pretty Rugged Leather sandals, Teva Mush flip flops, and Teva Olowahu flip flops and knew I had found the perfect shoes for WDW. Then the Crocs thread started, so I bought a pair of pink Beach model Crocs and a pair of blue in the Nile models. I wore all five pairs around here to walk my dog and all were VERY comfortable so I took all but the Teva Olowahus to WDW in May when I went. The Nile Crocs gave me my first ever blister at WDW on my very first day. (Thank goodness for mole skin) For the next couple of days all I could wear were my Tevas as they didn't rub the blisters. By the end of the ten days I was trying to alternate the Crocs with the Tevas to give the Crocs a fair chance, but they just weren't as comfortable as the Tevas.

I had bragged about my Crocs to my D-I-L and lo and behold what does she do while I'm in Florida? She goes and buys herself and my son both a pair of the Beach model Crocs to wear for our trip in Sept. I told her I really recommended the Tevas over the Crocs, but she said no way was she paying over $60.00 for a pair of sandals or $20.00 for a pair of flip flops, so I said fine then I would as I wanted her comfortable when we went to WDW in Sept. I bought her a pair of both the Teva Pretty Rugged Leathers and a pair of the Mush flip flops. The only thing is, she then turned around and bought me a pair of red Nile Crocs and said since we wore the same size we would just carry all of our Crocs and Tevas down there and trade them out to see which was the most comfortable and so we could match them to our clothes. I told her she could carry all four pairs of Crocs (my blue Niles, red Niles, and pink Beach and her yellow Beach) and I'd be comfortable in my Tevas. Thank you very much.

I'm sorry but those are the ugliest shoes Ive ever seen and I woudlnt wear them if you paid me! Give me my reefs and I"m good and comfy!

The last 2 hot weather trips, I wore my Teva Olowahu flip flops the whole week, and my feet never felt better!

I have been tempted to try the Crocs, much to the horror of my 17yo fashionista daughter. :rotfl2:
