So what would you do if you were in my shoes? I would Love to stay at two resorts and i will be with my mom DD 6 and DS 9 any combo's would be great!!!!

I'd split between a value and a deluxe. Pop Century would be great for your kids, but would be a little cramped for a very long stay. I'd probably do it for 3 or 4 nights at the end of the trip (the kids might not want to leave if you did it at the beginning). The other 6 or 7 nights I'd stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Much more spacious, with great theming, and a fun interactive restaurant for the kids. You really can't go wrong at Disney though, so you'll be happy with anything you choose!

well, you have about $200 a night to spend. the AKL rates for value season is $199 a night. if you could get a code/discount then you could stay deluxe the whole trip! even if you are far away from everything you are staying 10 days, and i dont think you want to kill yourself on vacation ! lol. ( i want to go for 10 days:( )

anyway, there is alot of neat stuff to do at the AKL!

Judging from what I've been seeing, it's harder at the Deluxe resorts, but everybody just keeps saying the same thing; call again and again and again to try to get them....

I'd resort hop, too....probably only once, but I'd move; if I had my choice I'd switch between WL and AKL...

Good luck!

If you are going during this fall/holiday special-we have CBR dreammaker package for 10 day in regular season for $1600.
You could split between two moderates also.

I vote for WL woods view and AKL Sav. view.. if that is too high, keep AKL Sav view and do it at the end and start with moderate like POR or CSR (CSR is my faovorite mod). we used to resort hop every time, but did get tired of moving. now we pick just one. AKL is the most awesome of all resorts... you can't miss staying there for 10 days! enjoy.

Aug 2006? Well, you will change your mind about a million times before then! My votes for a split would be WL and YC! If you need to do a mod, CSR is very upscale.

You could make a AAA room ressie first (assuming those are available for then, then wait for better codes. With AAA, at least you won't be paying rack if codes don't come out, and they normally come out a year or so ahead of time.

I'd try a mod and a deluxe (mod first). That way you'd get a feel for the different types. One warning--a deluxe will spoil you.

Wow, $2,000 for 10 nights seems kinda high. We did a split stay between CBR and WL at 13 nights costing us a total including tax of $1600. But we are AP holders. You didn't mention AP's, so I'd assume you're budgeting correctly for using a Disney Discounted Package.

Have Fun!

$2000 is max if I can not get any discounts I am Hopeinf to get a Ap or AAA rate or something. Ithat is going to be the most I pay if I have to . But trust me I am going to try to save as much as I can on a room.

I'd stay at CSR for a budget trip. It's a fantastic resort & we loved it. We will definately be going back there again someday.
