Fantasmic! is definitely better at DL than it is at WDW. I finally got a chance to see it this trip and I definitely liked the PeterPan vs Hook scene over the Pocahontas scene at WDW.

The Mark Twain is still down, so when the end scene came and the characters were just on the island waving flags, I could hear the entire audience groan and start to murmur, so that was a shame to miss that.

And finally, the dragon. Wow. It was so realistic. In fact, it was too realistic as my 3yo has a huge fear of the Sleeping Beauty because of the dragon. Seeing it sent her into a full on panic. So as cool as it is, it's probably going to be the reason we never see F! again for the next few years.

The one beef I have is the seating. I got a blanket out about two hours before hand on a Friday, and just as I did, tons of people did the same. I've gone on record as looking forward to FP for F!, and while I was waiting for F!, I went on record with the Orange County Register as their reporter interviewed me about my thoughts concerning the changes. So you may see a picture of me and my family sometime this week if you get the OCR.

Glad you have seen the light regarding DL's Fantasmic! I just re-watched WDW's version and it confirmed for me that DL is definitely the much better version. (In fact, I was somewhat offended at the Pocahontas scene)

I still doubt the Fastpass system will do anything to help the seating situation, but maybe they'll surprise me.

What I like about it is that it should give me at least another 30-60 minutes of ride time vs wait time. And you know waiting for these shows can lead to big time disappointment. I just wish they had bleachers like at WDW.

Sorry DL, the bleachers make it for me. The show is better but the bleachers are the best.

Well, think of it on the bright side. If you don't go back to F! for another three years, that gives DL plenty of time to work out the bugs/kinks in the upcoming FP system!

Hey, I've always said that DL has WDW beat on a lot of attractions: Pirates, Big Thunder, Space and Splash. I just like night time entertainment EVERY night. And with bleachers
