Ok heres the deal ...

I'm arriving at WDW via magical express on April 23rd approx around 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. I'm staying at POP and hoping that there will be a room ready. I don't really want to visit a park yet but what are some good suggestions to do on the day of arrival?

We usually like to go swimming at the resort and have a dinner scheduled at Chef Mickey's for our first night. Maybe even hit DTD for some shopping too if we aren't too tired from our car trip. Then get to bed early so we can be up at the break of dawn for MK day!

dtd, character dining, mini golf, and/or swimming.

We always head for DTD when we get there. And if you have enough time you should tour some of the resorts. And in the evening go to one of the resorts where you can see the electric water pagent. On the beach at the Poly is my favorite spot.

Winterland/summerland is over by blizzard beach and Fastasia gardens is by the Swan across from MGM. We will be arriving the same day also staying at POP. Staying off site on sat we will be doing the Mini golf for the first time then hoping to get some Ice Cream at Beachs and Cream afterwards.

I would definately suggest the pool during the day and DTD in the evening. There's so much great stuff to keep you busy!
