Grab breakfast on the road.

I came to a total of 508.68, so I will just round it up to 600.00 for snacks in the park and stuff like taxes. What do you all think. I did go to the website with the menus and prices. This is the total I came up with.

TIA

Hi there,
I don't know if you plan on eating off of property, but practically across the street from Downtown Disney is a brand spankin' new CiCi's Pizza. They have all you can eat pizza/salad/pasta/dessert for $3.99 a person. Just wanted to let you know :)

Oh, thanks for the info. I'm not really a pizza fan, especially CICI's, Where I live they're gross, but we might try them there on one of my unplanned days. Heck, there might be a day or two that we don't follow our plans, but I just wanted to make sure we have enough money. Thanks again.

Sabrina

Hi Sabrina, just my thought, you say you are a light eater but not your husband, I find that meals are prepared for a single person not even one with a big appetite, so it wont be fare for you to share. You can share dessert or a few fries but not a cup of soup, a side salad or a burger. when we eat at disney we often order extra sides or an extra order we call it the table order for everyone to share. you could order a starter item, which usually are light meal choices and salad or soup, you need to eat well and keep up your energy level especially with young children to care for, eat healthy and worrie about your diet when you go back home.
Have a happy holiday.

Stepharoonie!- With regard to CiCi pizza deal is that for just lunch or is dinner as well?

My brother is leaving this next weekend and they have 5 children in their party and at 3.99 a person they would get their moneys worth. Thanks!:Pinkbounc

I will be traveling for 8 days and my budget for 1 adult, 10 yr old and 8 yr old comes to $625 .. I think some of your days when you are eating a large breakfast and still have a full lunch and dinner included might be just tooo much food for a day .. I think your figure of 600 will be pretty close . We normally eat a large breakfast skip lunch but have snacks then eat a normal counter service dinner . ( or we eat a normal breakfast have snacks and a large dinner ) Let us know how it goes when you get back.. Michelle

Yes that lunch and dinner for 3.99 person.

Gosh it was late last night when I posted this and I did must say, that I forgot to say that my dh is not a big eater! We will be sharing meals, almost every meal. No need for food to goto waste!! I'm glad I have a whole year still to plan. Who knows what I will feel like eating when I get there. My poor dh says that I change my mind like changing my clothes!! So now I am figuring about 650.00 for the food. Snacks I'm not so much worried about. I will pack snacks for my dd and ds, so hopily that will limit the wants while in the park. We will also carry water with us, no soda's for the kids!

This is going to be a fun year for our family, and especially for me!! :jumping1: I love planning our family trips and last night my dh said he would accept going back every other year !! Just gotta love him.

Thanks for your inputs.
Sabrina

Double check the menu at Sci-Fi before you go. We just got back and were horribly disappointed in their selection and what we both got was HORRIBLE. (I got a sour turkey sandwich on dried out bread with a bag of chips).

I had WAY better food at counter service places.

I found the opposite of what Perla said about Disney portions. They are HUGE and most of the time more than enough for two. In this country we eat way more than we should, especially at restaurants. We've been served 'supersized' food and as a result our bodies have become 'supersized' too.

Your budget sounds just about right. Go and share and have a fantastic time!! :earsgirl:

sounds good to me except not sure one q/c will usually feed 2 adults and 1 child or all kids meals will feed 3 kids. my 2 usually split a meal at that age but do not think we would have gotten enough for the baby also so do not think you will always have enough for the poor little hungry child (lol)! course there are always snacks or maybe budget for some soup or salad to round things out a little if need be?

It's for both lunch and dinner....I think sodas are .99 cents, but I always just get water with lemon :)

Hope this helps you out!
