We are heading to WDW this fall with my family, my parents and my brother and his family. This will be my family's (dh and kids) third fall in a row and our fifth trip overall. This will only be the second trip for my parents and my brother's family and we stayed offsite last time. We did very little sit down dining last trip (just a couple of character breakfasts).

My parents, my brother and I all love to cook and eat! I am so excited to show them a taste of what Disney has to offer. We have the DDP. I am avoiding signatures because I don't want to use two credits each (especially for the 5 kids). We are staying at the AKL for the first time

Right now, we don't have park hoppers but adding them is still "on the table".

So anyway, here are the ADRs I have for the 11 of us. What do you think? Any recommended changes?

Saturday, arrival day MK - no ADRs because plane tickets not booked yet Sunday, EPCOT - late lunch at Les Chefs (never been but have wanted to - are we going to miss Remy on Sunday?)
Monday, MK - 8:30 PM at Ohana's (thinking by then we might be ready to head back to hotel for the day, new for everyone but us)
Tuesday, AK - 9:00 AM at Tusker (favorite of my kids) , 6:00 PM at Boma (new for all)
Wednesday, HS - 1:00 lunch at Mama Melrose with Fantasmic Pkg (new for all)
Thursday, EPCOT - 12:45 at Via Napoli (fave from last trip); 6:00 PM at Kouzzina (new for all)
Friday, MK - 8:00 AM at CP (another fave of my fam, new for the rest

It looks like you are going to have a great time! This is just my opinion on breakfast, if you go to Tusker at 9:00 a.m. you will miss those important park hours of lower crowds to get on the rides that may have longer lines later. How about if you have a quick breakfast bar or snack and then go for a late breakfast at Tusker. Since you have a 6:00p.m. reservation at Boma, you may be able to skip lunch and just have a snack between breakfast and dinner. We are also trying Chefs for the first time this trip, I think you will miss Remi, I just read his hours somewhere on these boards yesterday, and I think I recall that he does have Sundays off.

I agree with the PP about your Tusker House breakfast. It would be great if you were able to change it to one in late morning to maximize your early a.m. touring.

Aside from that I think your plan looks great and I'm sure your family will really enjoy it. And kudos to you for not making any ADRs for your arrival day. Smart thinking!

How old are your kids? Ohana that late followed by an early morning breakfast could be questionable. 8:30 at Ohana means seated close to 9 not done until 10ish.... then back to hotel.... where are you staying? It could be 11ish before bed.

We love Ohana, like pp suggested maybe a little earlier if available

I love Boma, but noone else in my group did (but they are not adventurous eaters)

CP and Tusker sound great

I want to try Chef de France, I think Remy is there Mon-Sat 4 times a day.

Haven't been to the other 3.

I hope you guys have a wonderful time. We did a Grand Gathering a few years ago (it was my parents first time) and that has been my favorite trip

Sounds yummy and fun!! No suggestions for change, it all looks great to me. We're going in December at Christmas time (grand gathering, 20 people ) and will do 'Ohana the first day instead of going to the parks. It gives everyone a feeling of being at Disney without having to use a pass. We have CP reservations at Via Napoli (our first time there), and I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks everyone!

I had even noticed the late Ohana ADR followed by the breakfast the next day but honestly, 9 AM isn't really early for our crew. I had hoped for an 8 AM ADR but they weren't available. We are staying at AKL so I am hopeful it will be a quick trip to get to the park in the AM. I am going to see about getting a later one and maybe we can hit the safari BEFORE breakfast!

As far as dinner the night before, the youngest in our group is 5. I think that was the only ADR available but I will check about having one a little earlier.

I also might see about switching Via and Les Chef so we can see Remy!

Saturday, arrival day MK - no ADRs because plane tickets not booked yet Sunday, EPCOT - late lunch at Les Chefs (never been but have wanted to - are we going to miss Remy on Sunday?)>>YES you will miss Remy. He's there only from Mon-Sat. :(

Monday, MK - 8:30 PM at Ohana's (thinking by then we might be ready to head back to hotel for the day, new for everyone but us)>>>I would change this ADR, mayber get an earlier one since you have to get up early for Tusker House.

Tuesday, AK - 9:00 AM at Tusker >>As others said, I would get a later ADR at Tusker so you can make the rope drop, get fastpasses, ride, then go for breakfast. (favorite of my kids) , 6:00 PM at Boma (new for all)

:goodvibes

I was able to switch Les Chefs and Via so that is great! I can't get Ohana any earlier even on a different night. However, Tusker House is available at 8 instead of 9. But that would mean getting up even earlier! But it would give us another hour for touring the park!
