Headed to the world April 11 - 15 (crazy I know) and staying at the Pop Century resort. Because of the funky big crowds that week should I still plan on taking advantage of Early Entry days and visiting those parks in the AM? Or should I skip those parks on those days and go to another park.Inquiring minds want to know.

Let me preface my post by saying that I am nowhere near a planner. I do what my gut tells me to do, because I usually go in the off-season, and crowds are rarely, if ever a problem. So, take my advice for what it's worth.

IF you have little kids who like the Fantasyland rides, I would plan on doing the EMH for a a day at the Magic Kingdom only. Stay at the Magic Kingdom until crowds become unbearable. Then go back to Pop, nap, swim, lunch, and head back to a different park. After you've finished those fantasyland rides, avoid EMH and it's respective park.

If you don't have kids, I would avoid EMH and it's respective park like the plague.

Have a great trip!

Guess it depends. Do you have kids, if so their energy levels are highest early in the am so that might affect your decision. If you are young adults, no kids etc. you might want to consider the non ee park of your choice. Sometimes its ok not to go with the flow. We will be there the same time. We have 3 teenage ds and I have planned to do ee a few days the 8th at mk and then the 9th at ak and the 10th at mgm. I have also planned for us to hit blizzard beach as soon as it opens one day. Get fp wherever you go and if you dont like fighting the counter service crowds then you might want to make a special priority seating for lunch and dinner somewhere, remember this is a peak holiday time so bring lots of patience. and have a well thought out plan to maximize your time.

Well, we are going practically the same time you are (9th-16th) and , yes, I feel that I'm insane as well going on a week like that:) What we're doing is 1 EMH day at MK and 1 non-EMH day at MK, plus 1 evening at MK. That way, I figure, if we miss anything, it wasnt meant to be. We are also doing EMH at AK, but not Epcot, because we have 1 day and 1 evening there, and also not MGM, because we're only doing an eve. tour. Hope this works for us. Good Luck in your choosing and, hey, we'll see ya down there:wave:

It depends. If you plan on getting to the parks in the morning and touring all day without a break I would say to go to an non-EE park. If you are planning on a mid-day break I would go to the EE park, tour for a few hours, take a break, and return to a different park.

T&B

I'm with Dan on this one. If you have little ones, do MK FantasyLand at EE, then leave!!! If your kids are young, go back and swim, eat lunch and then head back out. The only other hint I would give is to do what you need to do at FantasyLand and then head over to ToonTown before it opens. If you are there early, you can tour there without quite as many people. But I think that it opens around 10.

We have gone several times during peak season, and the summer when the crowds are extreme. IMO, it is a must to do Extra Magic Hour for each and every park you plan to visit. This is the best time to see the "E-ticket" rides before the parks are swamped. Then, leave that park and go to another for the rest of the morning.

This allows you to get some of the best rides in during the early morning, when the lines are the shortest.

Before we started doing this, we would get to the parks about 10:00 a.m. or so, just when everyone else was showing up, and stand in hour-long lines! Yikes!!!

Have a great trip - peak season is doable, and remember, those longer park hours allow you to see the fireworks, etc. that are not always shown during slower times.
