OK, help me decide...

I know about online check-in, and I used it last time we went. DO you think I would have a better chance of an upgrade if I wait and check-in there? I just can't decide.

I voted in person but you maybe able to get an upgrade if you do online check-in too . The thing with upgrades is that you should never expect them....just be happy that you are going to Disney

We've been upgraded both ways...but I think I would wait and check in when you arrive at Disney and do in person.

I checked in online on our last trip to the WL in June. When we arrived at the resort they had upgraded us from woodview to concierge! It was our first ever upgrade at a WDW resort and we have stayed well over a years worth of nights there. LOL! I will be doing online check in from now on.

I agree!

However I think it is about 50/50 for upgrades online vs in person. The plus with online is they know when you are expected to arrive and maybe able to fill any requests because they have that information in advance.

I agree, you do have about a 50/50 chance for an upgrade whether you choose online check in or not.

So I'd take CR Resorts Fan's advice and just book the room you want instead of hoping for the room you want.

Thanks for your input everyone. I think I've decided to wait until I get there this time.I agree that t is not likely to receive. I have a water view room. I will be upgrading my tickets when I get there, so I might as well wait for check-in.
