Ok guys here's a sweet flirty thread

Ok so as you all know my bf broke up with me a month ago. Well since then I have talked to several different boys (not in a flirty way). Well now there's a guy that came to my bday party Saturday night and he is so cute and sweet . The best thing is he likes me and says I'm really cute . Both of us just came out of a pretty bad breakup and we both found a lot of comfort in being able to talk about it to someone who actually understood. He got my number from a friend and we have been texting eversince. Right now we are just friends because neither of us feel like we're ready for a relationship. He is SOOOOO much fun! He's has seen me being goofy and being Idk what you'd call it. . .um. . . serious I guess. We played Twister at my party and I had a blast with him (we played boys VS girls)! He was so sweet and texts me at night right before he goes to sleep and then right when he gets up. He says he feels a little weird talking to me though because his ex-girlfriends name was Nikki (that's my name too) so it's a little akward for him. We are going to see Rambo together when it comes out and I'm super excited about it . Anyway, do you guys have anyways that we could get to know each other without it seeming like an interview? I'll post some pix of him as soon as I can. For anyone who wants to know his name it's Kevin and he's 18. As dumb as it is gonna sound I felt a connection with him. It's like our personalitys clicked . I loved it. Any help advice or thoughts on this subject are appreciated!

If you really feel comfortable around each other then i suppose random question every now and again,such as what he's interested in and what he likes, shouldn't be too much of a problem should it?

He is a fantastic guy. We hung out today with two of our friends (they're dating). We went to the fort in our park and hung out. He threw a lightbulb at me bc we were joking around and I told him he was boring. He has REALLY good aim! I found out he plays an electric acoustic guitar and he's really good. We sat outside the fort and he played while the wind was blowing and the sun was setting. . .so sweet. Anyway his fav movie is Sweet Home Alabama. . .I thought that was really cute. We have just been bringing up different stuff to talk about. He said I was a daredevil bc I jumped off the floodwall and stuff. I felt like an idiot though bc when I tried to climb the floodwall to get back up by him he reached out his hand and I missed and scraped the heck outa my wrist. He told me I seemed a little bit nervous and that I should just relax and let loose. So I did. It's kinda weird though bc at school we don't acknowledge each others existence and we only text. We just do our own thing which I guess is kinda good bc it shows we don't always need to be together.

You could just have a chill night and say "I have a game! Let's just ask eachother questions!" You can ask silly questions, like "would you rather eat pickles or tomatoes for the rest of your life?" and/or serious ones like "What do you think happens when we die?" That way you get to know eachother better. Put in some fun music and have lots of snacks out. It's fun! I've done it before. And it sounds like an interview, but it's nothing like one, because it's more fun and relaxed.

Thats a really good idea. I think I'll defenitly do that. He actually wants to go to the movies to see Sweeny Todd tomorrow night for my bday! He admitted to me that he really likes me and thinks I'm really cute and super sweet *blushing*. He's a really great guy and I DO so want him. . .kinda. I just don't wanna get hurt again so I'm slightly apprehensive about taking down my walls and letting him in.

I dated my BF for a while before we were 'official' and they're nothing wrong with that.

Getting to know each other is usually pretty easy when you hang out alot. If you guys talk late at night at all, that's uaully when the deep dark secrets start to come out hehe.
Sometimes my BF and I will just lie there at like 12am and just spill our guts.

I am 18 today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways yeah we have been dealing with people labeling us as a couple when all we are right now is friends. That's it nothing more. It has gotten REALLY annoying. oh well. He woke me up this morning to tell me Happy Birthday then he decorated my locker at school. It was so sweet. He thinks it's funny to call me giggles bc I like to laugh so he made a banner that said "happy 18th bday giggles" and put it above my locker and he made me a card and had it delivered in 7th hour. Neither one of us are ready for a new relationship right now though.

Hey I am annoyed with it bc it's the same people that keep asking! lol. We are supposed to go hang out tomorrow after school with our friends again.
