DH and I are going to be at WDW Sept 21st - 28th for the 1st time. We're staying at ASMu. I posted a couple days ago our ADRs and I got some wonderful suggestions, and I made a ton of changes. Let me know if this seems to make more sense:

Friday, 9-21: arrival probably afternoon, I cancelled res at Teppanyaki in favor of dinner at California Grill, 7:40pm, to see Wishes while we eat!

Saturday, 9-22: Probably spend all day at MGM, and decided just to eat there rather than travel to DD to eat at Wolfgang Cafe. I really did want to eat there, but I don't want to overdo things with a ton of running around. Plus it seems it would take a lot of travel time to get to DD from MGM, so no Wolfgang Cafe:worried:

Sunday, 9-23: MK all day, eating at Crystal Palace for breakfast still but at 8:20am instead of 9:25am. It was the earliest I could get, but we probably won't be done too long after rope drop.

Monday, 9-24: All day at Epcot, and doing dinner at Chefs de France at 7:10pm - decided against 2 TS meals in one day - I don't know that we could eat that much!

Tuesday, 9-25: Probably early morning at MK (thanks for the suggestion) then go to a water park, and have dinner at Epcot, Teppanyaki at 8:15pm.

Wednesday, 9-26: AK all day. Due to lack of TS restaurants we want to eat at in AK, and not wanting to be a pig at Epcot on 9-24 with two TS meals, we decided in favor of California Grill for two credits, and eating two counter service meals (one OOP) today at AK.

Thursday, 9-27: We'll go to a waterpark or MK (or somewhere we didn't hit everything we wanted to), have dinner at Marrakesh (yeah, I kept it) at 5:00pm, then monorail to the MK for Spectromagic and fireworks.

Friday, 9-28: not sure what time we leave, so nothing planned for today

I appreciated all the tips, and if you've got any more, I'd be grateful. Like I said I'm a first timer, so I just guessed at this stuff!

Thanks!

I really like this plan.

Did you check the WDW calendar to see what time Wishes is on 9/21 or if it's even showing that night? I seem to think that the halloween parties are starting in late September so Wishes may not be showing. I wouldn't cancel the California Grill ADR in any event....

Looks good to me! As far as cs in AK, eat at Flame Tree and share your meal. The portions are huge! I agree w/decreasing the traveling around. It's a big waste of time and it'll tire you out!

Excellent job! You're going to have so much fun. But 9/21 is a MNSSHP night, so no Wishes. They will have the Halloween fireworks "HalloWishes" that night, so you will get some fireworks. I'm not sure what time "HalloWishes" is--probably the same time as Wishes.

(BTW--I love Marrakesh, so don't feel at all bad about keeping something that sounds good to you. Enjoy!)

Hollowishes is great! It includes perimeter fireworks that should look very cool from CA Grill. If it's possible ask to sit in the Wine Room. I was disappointed we were seated there, but went outside for MK fireworks and you can see Illuminations from Epcot too!

That's too bad about Wishes...I asked the CM when I booked, because I told her we wanted CG specifically for the fireworks, and seem to remember her saying it was on for that night, which is why she chose the res time she did, but maybe she just meant there would be fireworks.

Thanks for the Flame Tree suggestion, I had heard it was good, maybe we will try sharing. I'm nuts thinking we're going to eat this much food!

I do feel more comfortable with this plan, sad we'll be missing Wolfgang for Sci-Fi, but the trip's not about the food, anyway.

Thanks!
