Ok..Down to two: AKL or CSR. Input PLEASE!!

Looking at a November trip. Thinkin I might wanna wait for AKL till a Christmas trip (maybe next time), and leaning towards CSR since it will be after fall decorations and before xmas. That way we can do SeaWorld and Universal for the differnce in the money it would cost us to do AKL. Just need that little push from you all. Whatcha think?

I have to say that I would go with AK over a moderate. I find that the AKL is a littel more laid back. I like the one bus stop with AKL (sometimes a stop at Kidani) and I like that its not so spread out. And I like to order room service for breakfast a couple times during my trip. A room service tip: order pancakes, one adult and one child, you get plenty to share. This is awesome to do on your checkout day. The kids can eat in their pjs, while you pack. Room service gives you plenty of time to get ready wityout any rush or stress.
I prefer to stay in the villas. I rented points. I save money and get pool view.

Not sure of the ages of your kids, but I find it to be too much to do a Disney trip and other parks at the same time. Its just too much unless you kids are older. Mine are 8 & 11 we did Disney/SeaWorld/and a local stop my mom wanted, a couple years ago. I said never again, I was so worn out.

I'm with the pp that I would also go with AKL as it's a beautiful resort and the restaurants are great. We've stayed at one mod and while we had a great stay, we love the deluxe resorts and now we can't stay anywhere else. Good luck deciding and happy planning .

When in November are you planning? Christams decorations should be up by the 2nd week.
Since I am not a fan of buffets and CSR has changed their food court to buffet for breakfast and dinner, I recently changed my ressie away from CSR

What are the ages of your kids? How often do you go to Disney? How long are you going for? We love AKL! It is one of our favorite resorts. Having said that, we just got back from a split stay at CSR and the rooms are lovely. This was the first time we have stayed at a moderate in about 15 yrs. CSR has multiple bus stops and the restaurants aren't as nice. I would go with AKL but it would be helpful to know the answers to some of the questions.

Absolutely ALK. I absolutely love that resort and can't wait to stay there again. As a pp said, if you go in mid November the decorations will be up so you won't miss out on those.
