ok DIS friends really need PD

I haven't posted this before, because I was hoping it would go away. My dh called from work today to let me know that 25 people just got fired. Thankfully, he wasnt one of them he was moved to another dept (a minor promotion), but our trip may now be in huge jeopardy. I am very grateful that he has a job, but I have been planning this trip for a year. I do feel badly about the people who lost their jobs, and I know it sounds selfish but I really want to go on our trip. So please if you can just send us some PD that we can still go. Oh, the kicker is my DVC use year is dec 1, last time I ever plan a trip that close. thanks

I don't think it's selfish at all. You want this trip for your family and you've planned it for a year. There is nothing wrong with that.
