How many others are dieting for there holidays like me?

I start in the morning weight watchers again, I lost five stone the last time round but sadly have put 2 stone back on from november to now.....

I have bought a pair of cropped jeans that I love, in the size I want to be in for september, (about 4 sizes smaller than now), is this nuts? I just seem to need a piece of clothing to focus on, lol

Also any good thigh stomach excersizes out there? I have a twist and tone (well in its bag) any good?

Ive got three months to rhodes and five to florida, what a long road

Good luck :) :cheer2:

I am not dieting to lose weight however I am trying to tone up. I find pilates really god for toning.

Anna, with determination, you should be able to manage it by September. I started dieting back in January, along with a few others here. So far, as you can see by my ticker, I have lost almost 2 stone.

Personally, I have never tried to 'slim into' clothes but only because I know that it wouldn't work for me. I find it much more rewarding to lose weight then be able to go out and buy new clothes. However, if buying a smaller size gives you something to aim for, then good luck :goodvibes

One that's meant to be good for the stomach and thinghs is using those giant pilates balls. It's not very dignified (definately close your curtains!) but is meant to work. It's also best to do it without other halves watching as they have a tendency to start s******ing which really doesn't help!!!

Lie on your back with the small of your back pressed down to the floor. Put your legs in the air with the ball between them, now pull your knees down to your chin WITHOUT arching your back, then straighten your legs again. Harder than it sounds trust me!

Another thing I heard was to put your "fattest" picture on the fridge door, whenever you got to snack it reminds me why you don't want to!

I lost 5 stone last year with the help of everyone on the boards, the weekly weigh-ins were a great incentive. I now weigh 9 1/2 stone, but i still need to tone. I have bought a hula hoop and its seems to be helping with the belly  Swimming is a great exercise too. :)

You have proved to yourself that you can do it and with the help and support of weight watchers i'm sure you will do really well :) Good luck

I constantly buy smaller clothes as an incentive. In fact I will try them only every week to see if I can fit into them.

As a fat burning exercise I recommend spinning and running. I spin on a Tuesday and Thursday morning and the 30 minute sessions burns 420 calories. It really is a fat burner. I also like swimming and pilates for toning.

l've also been dieting for my holiday. l've lost 7 pounds which was my aim and l've managed this slowly but surely lol. l've been doing WW at home and also going on my treadmill 2-3 times a week :thumbsup2
