Ok..be honest...who cries?

Guilty! Our family always heads to EPCOT on our first day. The sight of Spaceship Earth as you round the corner has been known to bring tears to my eyes! Heck, just having the airplane take off from the airport heading to WDW is enough to make me cry! ::MinnieMo

OMG!! We usually drive down and as soon as I get on 535 by DTD, I'm bawling. Then it's one big sob fest for the whole trip...seeing the castle for the first time, Wishes, Spectro, Fantasmic, you name it, I'm crying. Of course, they are tears of extreme joy, but tears non the less.
I think I need a 12-step program!! :lmao:

I cry when I see the arch, when I see the purple road signs, when we pull into POR, when we check in. I cry when I see the MK for the first time that trip. I cry when we walk into Epcot sometimes. I ALWAYS cry during Illuminations(DH cried last year)! We keep missing WISHES, but I know I'll cry there too. I cry when we are leaving the last park before we leave(usually Epcot). I cry when the characters give extra attention to my youngest DD(never seen WDW thru the eyes of a toddler).

I cry when we leave.

I cry when I play the Illumin. CD

I cry.

At anything that shows the magic.

Of Disney.

I cry and get goosebumps not only at the shows at Walt Disney World, but when I hear the music on CD here at home or in the car, or looking at peoples photo's or hearing about the first time a family experienced the magic! :goodvibes

Me too, but then again look who got me into the Dis thing!!!!

Phew!!!! I thought I was the only one. I am crying reading this post right now thinking of all the parades and special events!!! I cry during the commercials I see for WDW, too! ::MickeyMo

all this talk about Disney is getting me so excited for July!! I too can't wait to see the purple signs and the arch! I can't wait to get on the Monorail! I have already started purchasing items for my trip! And I still have 4 months and 3 days! I need a 12 step program too! I think I have what's called "Disneyitis".

Crying right now reading this... :wave2: Yup.. thanks:)

I cry when I see mainstreet for the first time (MK.. first park!)
I cry at fantasmic when they show the "old" cartoons on the water in the bubbles.
I cry whenever I see footage of walt.. anywhere. I wish he was still alive.. my mom saw him when she was a teen in CA.. he waved and winked at her:)

I cry when I watch my vacation planning video.

I cry at most disney movies.. the new Bambi got me.. AMAZING movie..

Most of the older rides at MK get me... so many memories. I can't wait to take my niece there in a couple of years:)

This is so OT but when we were little my brother and I took my mom on The Gemini which is, in my opinion, one of the best wooden rollercoasters ever made (at Cedar Pointe). Anyway, she had never been on a rollercoaster and she didn't really see it from the line area and we told her it was a kiddie train ride and she got in line with us and when we went down the first drop (a BIG drop that ducks underneath another piece of track so it appears as if you are going to hit your head while you are plumeting straight down) she started crying and screaming and wanted off. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. Now she won't go on ANY rides ever, anywhere! It was worth it though, my brother and I will never forget that look. :lmao:

Oh, your all cry babies... Me, a guy, never cr... wait a minute... is that Illuminations starting? I,... I,... sniff, sniff... does somebody have a tissue...

Yeah, yeah, I admit it... tears could flow when I am at EPCOT watching Illuminations :teeth:

Tears of Joy :wizard:

I am trying to control the lump in my throat from just reading these posts!! I cry soooo easily when it comes to Disney... anything. I always wanted to go as a child and never ever did (we lived like 10 miles from there...) Now as an adult I have taken my children every year for as long as they can remember. watching Tinkerbelle fly out of the castle, and our youngest hug pooh for the first time is my all time "loose" it moments. The "ugly" cry with blotchy marks and all... Pathetically wonderful. This place can overwhelm us with joy... and people need just a bit more of that in their lives!!

 It's ggod to know I'm in good company! I cry every year! The worst was the first time my DS saw the castle, the look on his face :cloud9: . I was done, tears rolling down my face walking down Main Street. Last year, Wishes got to me, having my mom holding my son and standing there with DH magic!

:wizard: In fact my DD and I tear up when we get the new planning DVD in and watch it. What a bunch of SAPS! Oh well, we do love us some Disney!

Who here cries during Wishes and/or parades at WDW? I know I do..and my parents sometimes think I'm a nut. Am I alone on this one? :confused3

I do. I cry llie a baby during Wished (well, DH says not like a baby) and I also cry when I listen to the Wishes CD.

The first time that I went to WDW I was almost 21. As we were coming across the lagoon and the castle appeared over the horizon I burst into tears. That made my mom and dad start to tear up and my sisters roll theor eyes. I then cried the first time I met Mickey Mouse and have cried every time since. I love the mouse!

I cried when we saw Fantasmic for the firs time a year ago December.

Now whenever I think of going to the World with my niece and nephews I feel like crying. I KNOW that I will ball my eyes out when I do take them. Hopefully next year. I can just imagine the looks on their little faces when they see the magic for the first time. Oh now you have me going and I am at work!

I cry reading all about DW and imagining how much fun my boys are going to have!! I cry thinking about the parades, the rides, the hotel, the dining plan...you name it!!!

My husband cries over the Master Card bills!!!

Yep! Count me in as another crier! :wave2:

I cry when:

we walk down Main Street for the first time each trip
we see Wishes
and while watching the Flag Retreat Ceremony at the MK

and of course when we leave!

I well up just hearing the music from Illuminations on the computer in my office--
so needless to say when I am in the "world" I tend to get a little weepy. Yep, I'm a tad emotional. I'm so captured in the moment for the duration of our trip, that it just cannot be helped.

We always enter MK through the left side at City Hall and just after I pass through the underpass beneath the station and step out into the Square, the hairs on the back of my neck rise, and I just smile............ :sunny:

Counting down in earnest now!! :woohoo:
