AWWWW, You're not nuts, you've got the most Disneyesque heart of all.
I believe that's just how deeply Mr Walt Disney himself wanted to touch our hearts. Tears of joy are a beautiful thing, especially when I see any child experiencing the wonder of Disney for the first time, can get teary eyed easily.
I'm 22 and guilty on the following counts:
Wishes-- actually cry and get very choked up
Spectro (if I see it on the last day we're there)-- teary eyed
Fantasmic-- choked up
There's nothing quite like Disney World-style happy tears.
I to am a guilty one. When we went in the summer for our first trip in 2005 and saw the wishes show with my children I had such a lump in my throat and the tears were falling...lol
I loved it and so did the kids.It is something I will never forget.Im so glad we saw it.
What made me cry? The look on my DS's face when he first saw Woody walking along the street toward him at MK. I cried, DH cried, so of course DS cried too!! Lucky Woody didn't!
I've been known to cry while watching Wishes. I think it is a combination of ending a great day at the park, and sharing such a wonderful moment with so many like minded people, it just gets me every time and I love it
Wishes thats nothing, I seem to end up crying at the commercial. Just the excitement of someone planning a trip to Disney I guess. And then when I'm down there. Yes I am a man and I am not afraid to say I get a lil teared up at times. But my wife starts it
DS cries (more like screams) at Wishes but that is more because he is terrified of the fireworks. We do have the awww moments quite a bit while walking around the parks though.
Guilty!! My daughters and I (they are 30 and 22) always hold hands when we walk under the railroad and into MK for the first time on our trips. As soon as we see the castle at the end of main street....wham! it seems the magic hits us and we all start crying! Corny, I know, but you either have the love or you don't. WE DO!
i do too! our last trip dh and ds(3) rode dumbo and the fireworks were going off over our heads and the music was playing. the tears were just flowing!!!!! a complete moment for me. it's what its all about.
I cry and get goosebumps not only at the shows at Walt Disney World, but when I hear the music on CD here at home or in the car, or looking at peoples photo's or hearing about the first time a family experienced the magic!
Cry ONLY at the parades?? That's nothing!! I certainly cry at Spectromagic music, the first time I see Mainstreet and the castle, when I see my DS's look in amazement at Peter Pan, Buzz, Woody, power Rangers...you get the idea!!
I do too! Definitely get teary eyed at the opening celebration of MK, Wishes, and Share a dream come true parade....I keep thinking I will eventually get over it, nope, it happens everytime. Thank goodness for sunglasses.
I too cry, it reminds me of all the good times we have had at WDW. Don't want to put a damper on this, it's a good thing. But wishes always reminds me of my oldest DD(would be 20). She just loved WDW and would have loved wishes.
