I realized after about an hour of wearing flip flops last night that I was wearing my 11 year old son's not mine. I put his foot up next to mine and they are the same size! When did this happen?:confused3
I remember holding his cute little fat baby feet in my hands and it seemed like that was just yesterday!
I am so not ready for this!!!:scared:

Both of my big kids outgrew me at 11. DS16 is now 6'5" and DD14 is almost 5'11! They grow up so fast!

Let me start by saying I am 5'2" tall but wear a womans size 10 shoe. My DH is 6'2" and wears a mens size 12. My 12 yo DS is about 5' tall and wears a size 12 mens :scared1: I just hope he grows into his feet and that his feet stop growing.

Kids have really big feet these days. I say it is because they always wear tennis shoes or flip-flops or whatever and not the dress shoes we always wore. DD13 wears a size 10 in womens, DS13 wears a 10 1/2 mens, DS15 wears a 9 1/2 mens.

I am right there with you! I wear a women's size 10, and my 10 year old son is already into a MEN's size 10!! Those cute little baby feet don't stay that way for long, do they? :sad1:

Problem is, if he's wearing a men's size 10 at 10 years old. . .I'm wondering how big's this kid gonna get?!?! I may be raising Goliath! He's already 5'3"!!

OMG, you have me beat! My son wears a 9 in mens!

I'm telling you, I'm worried about feeding this kid through his teenage years! DH is 6'5", I'm 6'. . .and my "baby" brother is 6'8". The pediatrician said last week that DS is "well on track to be at least that tall". :scared1:

OMG that is big!
Well, my baby that is 7 months is fitting a size 5 shoe snuggly, so it looks like he'll have huge feet too. My 11 year old only wore a size 3 at that age though so....:scared1:

I wear a size 7 and my 10 year old boy wears a size 10. He is also very tall.

I posted earlier but forgot to add that my other boys have big feet also. My 9 yo wears a 6 and my 3 year old wears a kids 11. WE are just a big feet family.

Me and Mike wore the same size shoe when he was about 6...:lmao: He's 15 now, I wear a woman's 6 and he wears a man's 15...:scared1:

Scary, isn't it? My ds13 just passed me in height and I am 5'7" so not a short person. Sigh....

I can wear my DS8's shoes. I just slipped his sneakers on today. By next year his feet will be bigger than mine.

Then again, when he started walking at 7 months old he wore a toddler size 10!

I wear a women's size 11. My mom wears a women's size 6.
My dad wears a men's size 12. My husband wears a men's size 10.
DD10 wears a women's size 8.5. She is also 5' 2"

My DD12 wears a half size bigger than me. I have small feet though - between 5.5 and 6. It doesn't take much!

See..I'm surprised my DD12 doesn't have bigger feet!! I wear a 9, and almost all her friends are in 7-8 in womens... she's still a 3-4 in kids... but not really shorter than anyone else. She will, however take my tshirts in a heartbeat... lol

I am 5' tall and wear a womens' 7- DD9 is a petite little thing, but she has BIG feet for her size. She is in that borderline area where she can wear the biggest girls' size (4-4 1/2), or the smallest womens' size (5). I expect within a year she and I will be able to share shoes. The kid is only 4'4" tall, though- I tell her all the growth hormones in her body went to her feet!!

My niece is 14 and wears a womens size 12- her brothers wear a mens 14 and 15 (and the 11 year old has bigger feet than the 17 year old).

When DS was in the 6th grade, he started out the school year in a boy's size 4 shoe. By Easter of that school year, he was in a man's size 12. I even asked his ped. about it because his feet hurt all the time. Apparently it was just because they were growing so fast. He needed new shoes every 2-4 weeks from August until April. Luckily, they were finished growing at that point, since at 23, he's still in a size 12, except for sneakers, when he wears a 13.

:scared1: Wow!
