We are leaving tomorrow for our second trip to WDW. We drove the last but this time we are flying.

I'm wanting to find out how we can get transportation out to HWY 192 for all the discount souvenior shops. We have lots of people to buy for and I know we can't afford to buy at WDW stores we would go broke in the first day being there, lol.

So any suggestions? Please help me! Thanks so much for any info you can give me. By the way, we are staying at AS Music and there are 4 adults and 2 children.

The last time we did that we took a taxi service which cost about 95.00 round trip! Then I found out that there is public transportation called lynx bus service very cheap. I think they have a web site on line.

if you're going to pay that much why not rent a car for one day? they have national car rental on property at disney.

by all means rent a car....

some friends went shopping at belz when they were there....did not have a car and had to get a taxi or something similar....it cost them about 50$ just to get there and back....

one day rentals at national cannot be that expensive

and i think they pick you up at your resort to take you to the car care center

You can take the Lynx City/County Buses, the routes that go to Disney(TTC) are Lynx route 50 which goes to I-Drive and Downtown Orlando, and there also Lynx route 56 which goes out to the Hwy 192 area and also stops at the Super-Wall-Mart on Hwy 192, both of these buses run one bus once per hour from about 9am in the Morning till about 9pm on weekdays. you should check with Lynx website or call them for the times that the buses leaves at. Buses will leave from TTC which is just outside the Magic Kingdom.

Here is the URL for Lynx: http://www.golynx.com/

one day rentals are under $50 from nat'l...
we're renting at the airport, doing the obligatory family visiting in deland, and then turning our car into the car care ctr and it's going to cost us $65 for a mini-van... many other sizes of autos are much less... suv was only $43 :)
