My family and I will be going to DisneyWorld soon on the Magic Your Way 7 day package. I was wondering, if we decide toward the end of our stay that wow this is great we definetely want to come back again in a few years, can we purchase more tickets at that time to add on to our vacation now but with the no expiration option? I'm thinking this would be cheaper if they still did the every day you play is less money deal. Can this be done? And we have a 9 yr old and she'd be considered an adult when we went back, so would we need to buy her an adult ticket now with a no expiration or could we get the childs?

Thanks,

gpalange

It's cheaper to buy your tickets through someplace like ticketmania than WDW. Yes, you can buy them now, you can even buy the ones that expire as they don't start the 14 days until the first time you use them.

If you are talking about adding days to your 7 day tickets, you can only have up to a ten day ticket, but you could do this as well and purchase the no expiry option. Prices for tickets only go up! Personally, I think you would do better buying new tickets through a ticket discounter because you would have to pay $100 just for the no expiry option on the ten day ticket.

You would need an adult ticket for your daughter if she is over 9 when you go back.

If she has a child's ticket when she grows up they will upgrade to adult ticket for free. The child has to be there when this is done.

I am new also - but have I read that if you buy a no expiration ticket for a child - that you can change to adult for small fee later down the road?

Was asking question at the same time as being answered by pro. Glad to know no fee!!!

Ok let me see if I understand this. I can buy tickets now, not necessarily add on to my 7 day package as I will only get 3 more days that I would have to add the non-expiration date to. So if I buy us all 5 day hopper tickets from a discount source, and I can buy my 9 yr old a childs now and have it upgraded for free in 2 years? And I won't have to add a non expiration option to the tickets because they are good from now until I use them for 14 days, is that right? I want to be clear on not adding the expiration option. TIA
