Ok a little information from a private server guy,

Ok if someone made a copycat vmk and credited Disney for the work and also were not to edit any clothing from vmk or any vmk items then it would be legal for them to use the images or so on most copyrighted online games have there are many servers and MOST not all are very much legal and do not step out of the copyright bounds, I am 100% sure nobody could ever create vmk which I know I couldn't because the source files are on the Disney server but it is possible with the know how of shockwave coding.
