ok here is a few questions with each.

Treehouse villa, We would need one with a ramp witch Disney says they have no problem. How is the bus system? 2/3 in our party will be on scooters. how long of a walk is it to bus to parks from rooms. i know there is a bus from THV to main area. But if bus is late or those on scooters drive etc? Also how is Buses to parks from STS?

Reason why i ask is we haven't had best bus service when at a DVC resort. BLT buses sucked on wait times. AKK was bad as well only positive was bus picked us up first before JH. Last visit we stayed at AA kiddos loved the little mermaid room. was ok but busy resort. how ever bus service WAS AWESOME!!!!!

STS how is restaurants i know the QS meals at AA is a ZOO! only neg about that resort. Also how is pools at STS? looks like multi pools but one by THV is kinds of small not as nice as others we have stayed at AKK and BLT.

My inlaws will be traveling with us love POR we stayed one night and looked nice before our disney cruise last year. with POR do they still allow the fishing off the island etc? after the gator incident?
DW thinks DD would love that part of the resort?

I know that price range for us is about same plus or minus a $$$ for each of these resorts. We do not know DVC but rent points.

Thanks Aaron

Saratoga Springs is generally abbreviated as SSR, not STS. It took me a while to figure out what you were talking about!

The walk to Carriage House from THVs is less than 10 minutes. I think that the bigger concern would not be the frequency of the internal buses but the number of scooters that a bus can transport at one time. If 2/3 of the people in your villa are on scooters, you will probably need to take separate buses to get where you're going. The amount of time between buses to any given park can be anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes, depending on the time of day. Then add travel time to the parks on top of that. In my experience, bus service can be hit or miss at any of the resorts. You can only park one vehicle at the THVs. If you have more than one, you can park additional vehicles in the regular parking lot and either walk or take the internal bus back to your villa.

As for food, I would rate the Artist's Palette as very good (as far as Disney restaurants go). The QS restaurants are about the same as any in Disney. But being close to DS means that you have a lot of restaurant choices near to your resort.

The pool near the THVs is smaller and quieter. Very nice if you don't want to deal with crowds. There are two feature pools: High Rock Springs and the Paddock. They are not what I would consider to be convenient to the THVs. SSR is a very large resort and quite spread out. That's why there are two feature pools.

I'm not as familiar with POR. According to Disney's website, catch and release fishing is still mentioned as a recreational activity at POR. But as with all things Disney, YMMV.

Ty marionette! For fixing my STS to Ssr. Doh! Lol. Ty for the Intel. Also get the point that aoa is vaule resort. Blt has been great. As well as akk. For food. Was more worried about travel time to parks! We know the 2/3 scooter issue is a pain. How ever in laws usually sleep in and r not on bus and if my knee heals I won't need scooter. Typically we don't have 3 scooter till end of night. And then no hurry etc.

I just know from 2 stays at blt busses in the am r not greatt to ak and hs. Why I'm asking if Ssr is better bus since larger resort and more guests and no monrail. I know each resort has to budget it bus service etc.
