Vercipia plans to develop one of the first fully integrated cellulosic ethanol production facilities in Highlands County, Florida. Vercipia is a joint venture between two world-class energy leaders combining the entrepreneurial technology innovation of Verenium Corporation with the global engineering and operational experience of BP. Both partners are deeply committed to the development of sustainable energy sources; Vercipia represents their commitment to making cellulosic ethanol a commercially viable transportation fuel.
