Is it possible to get a ps for 12? Will it be fun with that many? Is that the best entertaing restaurant for that many??

I'm absolutely sure you could. Just call ASAP. It's a great place for a wide range of ages...they have coconut races and hula hoop contests for the younger set and we parents like to watch. The food is fabulous. You can eat as much of any one thing as you like. Don't be shy about asking for what you want. I thought I'd like the steak but really the pork and shrimp were more to my liking. And some of the appetizers I loved, some I could pass on. If you are waiting in the "lobby" prior to your seating, don't be tempted into ordering any appetizers. Believe me, you will NOT need any extra food. We love Ohanas...do it as our first and last meal at WDW. Have a great time. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

we had ten at ohana last friday- when we made PS they said they couldn't guarantee one table- but actually we had 3 PS over our week (at ohana, boma and MM) and we always were at one table. but at ohana i'd recommend really trying to be in the room with the fire pit- that's were they have the kid stuff, plus it's fun to watch them cook. you'll feel much more a part of things there!

We have also had ps for 19 on a couple of occasions. We have only been seperated once (we were at three tables next to each other). Ohana's is one of our favorites, for both breakfast and dinner!

We do O'Hana all the time with 12-16. 6-8 adults and all the kids are between 16-20. We've always sat together and had a great time. We've also done HoopDee Doo and that was fun too but they sat us 8 & 8. Of course the kids didn't mind sitting on their own. We did Teppanyaki too and the kids sat at their own table.

Sure, just be sure and call for a PS 90 days out or as soon as you know (earliest you can make is 90 days out).

It's a fun environment and great for large parties =)

We were there two weeks ago and had a PS for 12. Next to us, there was a family of 20. I believe they had to put two long tables together for them and two people sat on the ends, right in front of the fire pit.
The adults will love the food and the kids will love all the activities. They have coconut races and h-hoop contest every hours, about 30 minutes apart. Bring your video camera and relax.
PS exactly on your 90 day mark with that many people. And depending on your travel dates, you might even be able to see the Wishes from your table.

We will be 3 adults dining at O'hana's in October. I've seen lots of posts suggesting families with young ones request the "main room" for the kids activities. Where is the best location for adults without children? TIA

We were just there last week and the room is split in 2. The cooking area is in the middle and there is a wall so you dont see the kids but you still hear everything. Just tell them you have no children dining with you and they should put you on the adult side.

There are two sitting areas that are away from the coconut race "track". One is a small sitting area on your right hand side as you're walking into the restaurant. Away from fire and kids.
There is also tables as you walk past the fire pit in the main dining room that looks out into the Poly resort.
