I have a 9:30pm reservation at Ohana's in Sept. If we checkin early say an hour early will we be classified as walk up and need to get into the walkup line or in the reservation line? I perfectly understand that we may be sitting and possibly waiting until our reservation time. I have been calling trying to get us an earlier ressie but no luck yet. TIA

1) You basically become a walk-up.
2) You wait, and wait.
3) Ohana is so busy that getting in early is not easy.

You can try. But most likely you will wait until close to your original time. Sorry, that is just the way it is at Ohana.
Everyone wants this ressie. And those who don't get one they stalk the walk ups that do become available.

We always show up early to our adrs. Just me I like to be early. And for the most part we are usually seated within 10mins of showing up. But not Ohana. Everytime we wait.
But on the good side, we have never been seated after our adr like reported by some. :thumbsup2

We had an early dinner ADR last trip at Ohana, at 5:30, showed up early just because we are always prompt and had to wait beyond our ADR, it was roughly another 10-15 minutes which surprised me as I thought they had just started serving dinner. So, I would caution you that if you do show an hour early you may be in for a wait much longer than that hour, especially if they get backed up by then. If you don't mind waiting, you do get a beeper if I remember correctly, and can browse the shops. We love Boutiki and Wyland, the latter for daydreaming purposes only. :rotfl:
