Could someone please tell me how long it takes to eat at O'hana's. We have a reservation at 5:30 then were off to the MNNSHP. I was just wondering if we will make it to the MK for 7:00. Thanks

If your experience was anything like ours, you will be rushed and will be fine with getting there on time!

This also happened to us two weeks ago. We were seated and had every dish on our table within 5 minutes. I could hardly put anything on my plate and they were bringing out something else.

We had the opposite experience. It took us over 3 hours. :sad2: (That includes waiting to be seated, but our service was S-L-O-W, too.)

IFFFF you get seated right away . . . I love O'hanas, but have never been seated right on time. Also, you could probably finish eating within the 1 1/2 hours, but you have to get back to MK and go through security and ticketing (which will be crazy busy at the start of the party)...I'd say not to count on being inside the park/party before 8:00 . . .

My plan would be to arrive early around 5pm (I believe that is when they open for dinner) and check in. Hopefully you will be seated earlier than 5:30pm. You do know that you can get into MK at 4 pm with your party ticket.

I guess it depends on what time of year you are going. during the busy season, I have felt rushed to eat even at the nicest restuarants. However, at the time of day that you are suggesting, I think that you could eat at your leasure & easily make the 7 p.m. entry.

THe trickiest and least predictable part is getting seated on time. We waited ~30minutes beyond our reservation and took our time ~ 1.5 hours at the restaurant. I don't like to have to rush through a meal/experience that i'm already paying too much for...i'd probably avoid a situation where I have to maneuver through "disney traffic" into MK in that time frame.

It depends upon whether you join in the activities and are seated right away. We had about a 10 minute wait and my daughter wanted to do the coconut race and the dance line so we were there about 90 minutes. They bring the food out quickly... too quickly so you should be fine.

Honestly you don't want to arrive MNSSHP at 7 I'd say at least 1/2 of party goers arrive at that time and it will take you a good 15-20 mins just to get in. If the rumors about not getting in the party until 7 are true ( always used to allow you in at 4) then getting in at 7 will be a nightmare. I'd arrive at 7:30 most of the crowds will be in and non party goers will be gone from the park.

Thanks guys. I made the reservation at O'hana's before we deceided to attend the MNSSHP. It's my husbands favorite resturant so I don't want to cancel.

Yes.. get there about 20 mins early... and you should be fine for 7... Have a great time!!!
