O'Hanas?? Worth the trip?

If you go there be sure NOT to be on the frontline for the hula hoops or the coconut races unless you want to be directly involved voluntarily or involuntarily. I would go in to more detailed information but it is just not worth the time. I wont say go or don't go but simply that we had a very bad bad experience and will not be going back there nor staying at the Polynesian.

I really love the food there and the way it is served family style but I do not enjoy the environment --- for me it is too noisy and crowded (the tables are really close together)

We have been to Ohana's on several occasions. Only on one occasion did we have anything to complain about, which was that the beef was not cooked enough for my son's taste. I told our server and she very happily said "no problem".
It can be loud and crowded, so perhaps if you are not the kind of people that enjoy that kind of atmosphere, you should skip it for Boma's. Very good also, a buffet without the children's activities.
On a side note, please be kind to the cast members. They work terribly hard for little pay and not much recognition.
