Ohana's - What are the chances?

So Ohana's is the only place that is being requested by my teenage brother but it looks like I can't find a ressie earlier than 9:30 PM the week we are there. Unfortunately, I don't think this will work as we will have a 2 y/o with us. What are the chances of us getting seated if we showed up during the week at the start of the dinner opening? Anyone have any suggestions?

What week is that? Secondly, I'd start calling every day, as there likely will be a cancellation. Also, if you have a car, why not try to stop by there early on the day of and see if you can get a PS for that day, if you didn't get anything else.
It's a big place, and there is a lot of turnover of guests, so I'm guessing if you really put a some extra effort into it, you'll do okay.

Not sure when you are going to be there, but I have a seating for 6 at 5:50 I think on the 15th of August that I most likely wont be using. I tried to get it switched but nothing is available for the 12 nights we will be there. We have extended family visiting for one night during our trip and that is the night. I hate to not go, cause that is the only ressie my husband wanted. Let me know if it fits your time frame and I will part with it...

We had great luck with this on our trip last year. We were not able to get a ADR when we wanted so we ended up booking them for a late evening. During our trip we checked at the front desk and were able to get it moved to an earlier time the same day - no problem. Of course we may have just gotten really lucky..

You are better off calling Disney Dining EVERY DAY (even twice a day), and if that doesn't work, try to book from your hotel when you arrive. If you can get an ADR, great! Seems like many restaurants are trained just to automatically turn away walkups, even if there are a few ADRs available. Definitely try and have a conf. # in hand, rather than a true walkup.

Also try posting on the Cxl,Transfer, or Trade forum. You look for your month you need an ADR for and then post the dates you are looking for.

Also, for any of you that are thinking about cxling please try to post over there first. It would be greatly appreciated. There are alot of us hoping and waiting to try to get certain adrs.
