Ok, I know I am very annoying with the posts today.. soo... sorry. lol

I've booked two character dining meals and I know we will only be able to do one. I want to know yalls opinions on which to do.. so I can cancel the other one. First background, there are 5 adults and 2 children (ages 4 and 12).

First is Ohana's for a breakfast.
Second is Garden Grill for dinner.

Which do you suggest and why?

Also, if you suggest Ohana's, what would be the easiest way to get there? From MK or Epcot? or should we just go to the Poly since its in the morning and just go to the park after? The reservation CM said we can take the monorail..

Thanks yall! I will try to make this one the last post... for the day... ;)

We did both of these on our trip earlier this month (4 Adults, 2 kids). I would recommend Ohana's for breakfast over Garden Grill (although we do love Chip and Dale). The food was average (my Mother-in-law and sister-in-law didn't care for it at all) at Garden Grill and even though the characters were rushed at Ohana, they flew by our tables at Garden Grill (barely enough time for a quick hug and quick picture).

The food at Ohana's was very good. They also have a little parade around the restaurant for the kids. My kids loved that.

Ohana's for breakfast is something my Husband would like to do every trip. I doubt we will do Garden Grill again.

As far as getting to Ohana - if you are staying at a Disney resort you can take the Magic Kingdom character breakfast bus (they usually start running about 6:30am, but check with your resort's transportation CM). Once at MK, you can hope on the resort monorail to get to Poly. (give yourself 15-20 minutes for the monorail trip in case it takes a while to get on the monorail - we waited for a while for the monorail to get there and showed up a few minutes late. However, don't worry if you are a little late - we were seated right away.)

If you are staying off property, you can park at the transportation center and get on the resort monorail to get to Poly - the resort monorail stops at the transportation center between the Contemporary and Poly stops.

Hope this info helps. Have a great time on your trip!

There is no question in my mind about this one

'ohana in a landslide

I agree with the others and say Ohana. The atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. I have eaten at both restaurants and thought that the food at the Garden Grill was dry and was not worth what they were charging for it. The characters at both restaurants are great, but if you are looking for both good character interaction and a good meal, I would say hands down Ohana.
