I enjoy both, but dinner is my favorite. They have Mickey waffles and they do some activities with the kids and characters (parade through the restaurant). If I had to choose,I'd pick the dinner!
I have dined in 'Ohanas for both breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed both meals. As for breakfast, go there if you are going to do a character breakfast, if not, I would skip it and go to 'Ohanas for dinner instead. The character breakfast was great, the characters were Mickey, Goofy, and Chip and Dale, all dressed in their Hawaiin garb. They spend alot of time with the children and broke into a parade around the restaurant. My son was thrilled. The food was good but not great. They give you bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, mickey waffles, biscuits, fresh fruit, and pineapple bread. The breakfast is all you can eat and is served family style.
As for dinner, never a dissapointment. There is a wonderful view of Cinderella's castle in the distance. The atmosphere is wonderfu, though a little noisy. There are hula hoop and coconut rolling contests for the kids. The food is delicious and served family style.
We've only been to Ohana's for dinner, but it was great. It is on our list of not-to-miss places to eat for our upcoming trip. The food is great, the view spectacular, and there is so much going on it really makes for a great time!!
We have done both. Breakfast was okay, we might return but wouldn't make it a priority. It would just have to be a spur of the moment decision. Dinner is one of our favorites. It will be on our PS list every trip.
Hi Buck.. I like dinner and try to time it with the fireworks at MK..(ask for a front window seat if you can) they lower the lights and you hear Walt's voice saying it all started with a mouse and the music.. it is one of my fave experiences at WDW.... Food is decent and all you can eat..
