O'hana's or Luau or Both? Please Help me decide.

Right now I have a Wed. night ADR for Ohana's for a group of 15. THis is only 1 of 2 meals that we were able to get together. I have seen the menu changes for Ohana. We have never eaten there before so have nothing to compare it to. I am allergic to shrimp and my husband is allergic to coconut though. Might cancel this.??

Then we have a ADR for luau (just my family of 5) on Friday night. My girls (10, 6, 3) have always wanted to try it. For free dining, we can. But, will these meals be too similar for only 2 days apart? I have also heard that Hoop Dee Do is great. Considering cancelling luau and doing that instead. Girls were looking forward to seeing dancers, etc. at luau. Would they like Hoop Dee do as well?

Any suggestions? Luau or Hoop Dee Do? Skip Ohana?

My DH and I are doing Ohana our first night and the luau a couple of nights later. So, I vote for both.

We love both, so I would say do both. They are similar, but also very different experiences.

I have never been to the HDDR, but I hear it's a lot of fun. We're going to try it on our December trip - for my DDs 12th birthday!

Have done O'Hana, not again, especially for that kind of money. Do the Luau ! Wish we had and so does my DD. She did not enjoy the activity at O'Hana.

Have never done Hoop-de-doo 'cause I live in the land of Hoop-de-doo .......I can't imagine paying that much money for a ho-down. Of course, I don't know what how the Free Dining helps out with those meals...maybe if it is included I'd go for food in a bucket
