Which would you choose?

I have a 6 year old son, but we are doing two other character meals. I made reservations today for both, but I'm not sure which to cancel. This will be the last meal of our trip. I'm so torn!

Can you play it by ear and decide while you're there? I would choose Kona because I've heard sooooo many wonderful things about their breakfast! I like Ohana better for the environment but Kona for the food. Either way is gonna be awesome!

i would say ohana - we LOVE stitch!!
a word of caution though: many other dis'ers have said that if you double book, one or both ressies could very well be cancelled. i would pick one quickly and cancel the other before WDW dining does it for you :thumbsup2

I love Ohana for dinner, but my vote would be Kona for breakfast. Two words: Tonga Toast. I'm salivating now...! Plus, it's cool to be able to see into the hotel, the plants, and people watch. ;)

Oh, I'm definitely going to cancel one, that's why I posted here -- to get some input! It seems like it's atmosphere over quality, and for our last day atmosphere would be great. But before a long drive, a good meal would be ideal too. Not to mention the coffee -- mommy needs her coffee!

I'd do 'Ohana. Kona has good food but is a snoozefest for kids - it's just a hotel lobby restaurant. Add that your child will hear and see the excitement next door at 'Ohana and I think you'll have a bored and disappointed kid.

When I was 6, I couldn't get enough of character meals. And for what it's worth, we all agreed the Tonga Toast was disgusting so don't think everyone loves it.

My vote is for Kona!! great food and coffee! but if you really want characters i would go with Ohana or even Chef Mickey's (just a mono ride away)

We're doing Chef Mickey's on the Wednesday of our trip. Also, we're doing LTT on our first day.

For the last day, I'd go with Ohana - the character breakfast will be more memorable for your son. At least I hope so because that's what we are planning! :) I thought breakfast with Stitch would be a nice way to end our trip to the World. We are having dinner at Kona earlier in the week though - hope it's good!

OHanas and the Akershus at Epcot are the same breakfasts...different characters.....scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and biscuits served family style. Konas has a good variety on the a la carte menu...great food.

How much does your son like Lilo and Stitch and Mickey dressed in a Hawaiian shirt? That is about all you are paying for....food is not great like it is a Konas...the atmosphere is a bit better with the characters.

Personally, with my children, I go for the characters...we can get a great breakfast here in Boston anytime and with the poor food at the character breakfasts, I know I wont be too full to walk the parks after breakfast!!!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE Kona! It's a must at least once every trip for breakfast. If you already have character meals booked then I would breakfast at Kona.

Funny! I am trying to decide the same thing. I am more worried that I won't want the longer breakfast of Ohana before we hit the road. Then again, it might be a fun way to end or would I just be sad. I am definitely overthinking! We are actually going to do both. One on our sleep-in day, and one before we leave on Saturday.

I know I helped you none!:rotfl2:

Hey, at least I know I'm not alone! We may both be overthinking. :goodvibes

My wife & I have a tradition, every trip our last morning we eat at the Kona Kafe. We love it. I love the tonga toast. Plus its nice to get some real coffee after a trip of staying away from that swill.

We are taking my DGD to 'Ohana on our last day. This is one fun breakfast, Stitch lives up to his personality and if Pluto is still there they are hysterical. A 6 YO boy would love this. Heck, my 30 YO son loved it!
