I am not a huge fan of the family style serving from Ohana so I vote for Hollywood and Vine (if you have younger kids). It's very loud there just a heads up becasue the entire time there is singing and dancing from the Playgouse Disney shows.
We had fun at Hollywood and Vine for breakfast and they seemed to have more selection than 'Ohana did. Our kids had a great time dancing and playing with the characters there.
Put me in the column of not caring for H&V. So 'Ohana would get the nod in this case. Can't say I'm all that happy with the new menu at 'Ohana either, but I'd still take it over H&V.
H & V is the one restaurant on property that I can say I will never eat at again. The food is BAD.
O'Hana on the other hand I would eat at tomorrow if given the opportunity (went twice in our last trip )
If it has been...say...weeks since you have had a meal, and the only place to have an ADR opening is H&V, then I suggest you check with Disney Dining one more time. IF still nothing...go to H&V. But if you have any control go to Ohana.
I am sitting at WDW world right now and went to H&V two days ago (only because my daughter is 4 and loves Jojo and June.) I have been thinking for two days now how to get those dining credits back. Why does Disney allow that mediocre place to be so mediocre? Why not put in a Dennys if it is not important to them about the quality of food? ( sorry to slam Dennys...just an example...I would rather have their grand slam any day.)
Thanks for all of the responses, everyone! I went ahead and made ADRs for both H&V and Ohanas, but I am pretty sure after reading these replies that I am going to call and cancel H&V! I definitely don't want to waste 3 TS on such a bad meal.
