Ohanas or Chef Mickey?

No not characters just general experience. The general discription of the presentation at Ohana's sounds interesting then we would catch Wishes on the beach....Or do Chef MIckeys and do Wishes on the 4th floor balcony.

My choice would be 'Ohana. I think you would like the atmosphere.

I have to disclose I haven't been to Chef Mickey's but if you aren't that interested in the characters, I would make a visit to the Poly.

'Ohana for the food (dinner), Chef Mickey's if you want to see the characters. Chef Mickey's is good, but not great food wise in my opinion. It's your typical buffet with a Mickey twist, but we always go for the characters.

OK, since I can't vote for Crystal Palace (sigh), I'll go with Ohana - a much better experience than CM, IMHO.

Thanks everyone! I can't tell you how useful the boards are! I've been to Disney a million times but when you throw kids in the mix it's completely different! And I totally need you guys! Cause I have to be the cool aunt

We've been disappointed with CM the last 3 times we've gone, both the food quality and the character interaction.
WE love love love O'hana's-- your 8yr old and maybe the 10yr old will enjoy the games--my 13 yr old still likes to get out there and hula hoop!
Don't eat anything like all day, though, you'll be offered a TON!
Unless I had real little kids, I'd go with O'Hana's hands down!

Chef Mickeys would be my vote...however your kids have to be motivated to particiapte.

Another vote for Ohanas-my DDs (5 & 8 at the time) had SO MUCH fun!!
We didn't care for Chef Mickey's (for breakfast)-it took us over an hour to see Mickey

We like them both. But if you are looking for 'that Disney feel', I say Chef Mickey's. (of course, I'd eat at Ohana just for the dessert alone...that bread pudding was too die for....and I normally don't like bread pudding! LOL)

The other thing about Chef Mickey's is that the energy level seems too high to me. I think many children have a hard time eating there, and focus only on characters, monorail, and napkin waving. And I definitely enjoy the food at 'Ohana more.
