Surprisingly after 16 trips to Disney, I have not eaten at EITHER of these places! :rotfl: We are staying at the Beach Club and I figured I'd do an ADR at one of them for a 5pm sitting just before MNSSHP and we can just hop the monorail over to the MK. We are only going to be in Disney for 5 nights :( so my ADR's are:

Friday-Rose & Crown

Sat.-Chef Mickey's (my dd's 4th bday~her choice on the restaurant!)

Sun-Fanastmic dinner pkg @ Hollywood & Vine (also considering switching to Mama Melrose's??? any thoughts??? We've eaten at both in the past)

Mon-character breakfast @ Cape May & at night we have ADR's at O'hana's, but I think my older DD (6) might enjoy seeing Cinderella more @ 1900 Park Fare????

Tues-Cape May Cafe dinner buffet @ our hotel

Any thoughts would be appreciated! :) :) :) TIA!!!!

Just as a heads up -- two years ago, we ate at 1900 Park Fare on a MNSSHP night. We weren't going to the party, as DS was too young then. Anyway, I'd read on these boards that you should book an early PS for 1900 PF for the best character interaction, so I scheduled 5pm. It was a ZOO there! I didn't take into consideration that many people would be eating an early dinner before the party. It took us 2-1/2 hours to get out of there. We spent A LOT of time waiting -- for drinks, for the Cinderella slippers I'd ordered for the kids, for the check at the end, for them to bring back our room key, etc... We really didn't enjoy our meal there, as it was soooo crowded. On positive side, Prince Charming, Suzie, and Perla all came around to our table twice. Cindy only made it once, as she was being "mobbed" by little princesses running around the restaurant without adult supervison.

We're going back to WDW this October and plan to go to MNSSHP. I think we'll either opt to eat at Beaches & Cream before we leave, or will just get to the MK early & eat counter service.

I've never stayed at the Poly, but we always head to O'Hana at least once a trip. We've taken groups ranging from just me and DH to the whole extended family, including my 7 yr old twin nephews. The meal with the kids came after 2 days of being closed down in our hotel during Hurricane Frances, so you can imagine the degree of cabin fever we were dealing with. Even so, the CMs were great at keeping everybody happy. It's the perfect combination of fun friendly atmosphere, tasty food, and wonderful service.
I've never been to Park Fare, but O'Hana is too great to miss.

I've been to both places and prefer 'Ohana by far. 1900 Park Fare is a good choice too, but I thought the food at 'Ohana was great. Best au gratin potatoes I've ever had, even though they seem a bit out of place at a Polynesian restaurant.
