This will be the first trip for me and my fiance. She has always been in love with Lilo & Stich. I wanted to do this because I know they are there. Is it worth our TS credits or not? Does anyone have any pictures from this?

:rolleyes2

We ate at Ohana for breakfast on April 2nd. We had the first ADR of the day, 7:30 am, and were the first family to arrive.

We got a table by the window with a fabulous view of the pool and the Castle in the distance. The food was very good. The pineapple bread is scumptious. I didn't care for the sausage, but I don't usually eat sausage, so take that for what it is worth.

Now, the character interaction was phenomenal. We had Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. My DS3 had brought his "Stitch Blaster" (little gun that makes noise) and my DS's 8 and 6 gave it to the characters. First, Stitch began to shoot at Pluto. Then they started to play fight, complete with Pluto getting into a "Karate Kid" pose. Very funny.

Then, Lilo, began to shoot at Stitch across the room. I said "you aren't shooting at Mickey, are you?" She giggled then started bowing down to Mickey. My boys loved it. Here are a few pics of Lilo shooting at Stitch.

I would not hesitate to go back. :thumbsup2

We make this our tradition. We like it because its served family style, and I'm not fond of buffets. The food is OK, not great (character meals never have great food, IMO) - but you are going for the characters, not the food.

Do I try to fit this in on our last morning?

We stayed at the Poly in January and wandered down for breakfast, not realizing it was a Character Breakfast. Food was ok and served family style and I have to say that whoever played Stitch had that character down pat!

He was causing chaos all over the place! Chasing us if we went to the restroom, throwing grapes at the servers, sneaking up on you. Lilo was next best to me. Lots of hugs and kisses!

They took pictures of my fiance and I at the entrance before sitting down and now I know NEVER to have pictures taken of me before 10am, lol.

I thought it was worth it and I'm almost 40, so I'm sure the kids will love it too.

I am contemplating switching to this from Chef Mickey's for our day 1 breakfast (b/c of the family style vs buffet). I have a 2 year old...is there enough to entertain him??

I am so happy to hear such good news about the Lilo and Stitch breakfast  As soon as I heard Stitch had a character meal, I knew which one to book!! I guess I should pack the Stitch voice changer for this trip since we don't have the blaster...even though without a voice Stitch can't use it.

We loved it there too! DD9 and I were there in Feb for my birthday breakfast!

We love the OHanna breakfast. It is always our first stop once we get to the world. It is much quieter and I think more personal than at Chef Mickey's. I find it much easier to do the sit down family style meal than to do the buffet. My DS is up-down-up-down at a buffet and so are we and then you think "oh, here comes Mickey, where is he".

At OHanna the characters are always wonderful. On our last trip Leilo wasn't there, her day off I guess, we had Stitch, Pluto and Mickey, but they really spend time with you. Then they have a parade with the kids, everyone gets noisemakers and the grown ups clap & cheer, it's a great party atmosphere for a few minutes and then you're back to the quiet restaurant.

The food is good -- the Pineapple bread is to die for -- and although it's not fancy food they will bring as much as you want of anything, so if you don't like something you can leave it and know you'll be fine. Our "cousin" (what they call servers) was wonderful and went out of her way to make our visit special. She even searched out some soy milk for my lactose intolerant son!

Definitely worth TS credits! I bet you'll love it!

May I ask.. what the entire breakfast (meal) included ? You know like eggs etc... ?
We love Stitch... but if the kids won't like anything to eat... then might have to rethink it.

Thanks... :thumbsup2

The food was good, all types of biscuits and breads, then eggs, sausage, fruit and mickey waffles. I can't remember if there was bacon too? They brought out more of anything you wanted. It was a neat breakfast. The characters were really animated and there was a little march with maracas once an hour. Here are our pictures.....

I personally wasn't a fan of this breakfast but this was before Lilo and Stitch. It was just boring and the food was bland - except pineapple bread.

First we were served a bread basket with Pineapple bread, danish and biscuits. They also took our drink order. Then they brought several dishes of fruit which included canteloupe, honeydew, grapes, watermelon. The main breakfast was scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon and Mickey waffles.

The food was decent (not amazing and not horrilbe) but the character interaction and ambience was WELL worth it :thumbsup2 .
