Ohanas - Breakfast or Dinner?

We will be staying at the Poly for the first time this December and really wanted to include a meal at Ohanas. It will be myself, DH, DS 6 and DD 2. I currently have both a dinner and Lilo & Stitch character breakfast booked but will likely cancel one or the other.

Concerned about the recent bad reviews of the dinner, ie changes in the menu and poor service. I would hate to spend that kind of money and have lousy service.

On the other hand, we already have 3 other character meals planned this trip: CM, CRT and CP and was wondering if this is really going overboard with the character dining. My kids aren't really all that into Lilo and Stitch, but it sounds like a more relaxed breakfast, as the meal is served at the table instead of having to get up and down many times with the buffet.

For anyone out there who has recently done both, please help me decide. Any suggestions are welcome.

I have not done both, but I was worried about our 'Ohana dinner ressie too after all the reviews lately, but I am glad we didn't change it. We really had a wonderful time and the food was great and so was the service! The new dessert was very good. I say go with the dinner since you already have 3 other CM's. We ended up being able to watch Wishes and it was truly an awesome night.

We have done both and enjoyed both tremendously! Both were our favorite, the kids enjoyed the character breakfast more than CRT. They laughed and had a great time! You can't go wrong w/ either!! Have fun.

I have both booked for this Dec, my previous dinner there (pre-menu change) was fine. Since we are staying at the Polynesian, it seems like a very easy and non-rushed way to start or end a day.
