I was wondering if anyone has gone to this character breakfast. We are going in a couple of weeks and there will be a dd7 and ds5 along with 5 adults.

TIA.

We did and we enjoyed it a lot. Stitch is one of my kid's fav characters so it was a no-brainer for us to book this breakfast. The food was fantastic, the characters were some of the best we encountered in terms of the interactions, my son especially still giggles about how Stitch kept stealing Daddy's jelly. We had a lot of time with the characters and saw, Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. The kids participated in a parade with the characters around the restaurant. The service was excellent and we left feeling like we had enjoyed a wonderful experience as well as a meal.
:) I can't say enough good things about it. The Polynesian itself is wonderful too!

I absolutely agree with Kellyscrapbooks 100%. My DS 6 lives for Stitch! :stitch2: The whole time we were there they had the parade twice & both times Stitch came & got my DS (in Stitch apparel) & he got to walk up front with Stitch...probably one of the highlights of our last trip!
The food was Great & plentiful...served family style. We were so full when we left! I highly recommend O'hana. It's great for dinner too, just without characters.

We are booked for this breakfast, and I can't wait!! March can't get here fast enough. Stitch is one of our favorite characters too and I hope he is his "ole self" and full of the dickens.

In 2205 when we went to Chef Mickeys Goofy wasn't himself. He was no fun, very dull. So out of charcter. That is why I made the comment about Stitch above.

We have Ohana ADR's ds loves Stitch and dd will be wearing her grass skirt my folks brought back from Hawaii :rolleyes1

We have done this breakfast and it was wonderful. My 2 year old DD was scared of the characters the whole week, but on our last morning at this breakfast she decided she loved Stitch and could not get enough of him. Who would have thought that the alien monster would be the one that my frightened daughter would finally warm up to. It is worth the money.

I have to agree with everyone else. We loved this character breakfast. Stitch is one of DD's favorite. Look in my siggy, you can see our pictures. We went on our last day when we did not have park tickets. The Poly is gorgeous. I WILL stay there someday...hopefully! Anyway, this is one we will definitely do again. The food was delicious and the character interaction is great too!

We did this in January for my DS 5th birthday. It was the best! The kids had such a good time, the character interaction was fabulous. In all honesty, I didn't feel the food was the great, but the characters more than made up for it. We will definately do it again.

Took my DS (8) and DD (3) on our trip last September. The kids thoroughly loved it! DH and I did too. Stitch "stole" my DD's sippy cup and acted like he was drinking it. She was screaming, DS was cracking up. It was really cute. They were both in the parade also.

We did this breakfast this past Dec. and we loved it. The character interaction was great and the food was teriffic. We didnt eat again until about 10pm that night. We left so full. The food -YUMMY!!!!

This was one of our favorite character meals. The tables don't seem as crowded as the other character meals and it is by far the quietest. Most character meals are just super noisy.

I would say this is the most adult friendly character meal I've been to. The tables are bigger and the chairs are comfortable. The food is good. My DS6 just loves bacon and they brought out a whole plate of it just for him. Can a 6 year old's arteries harden?:) (don't worry - he knows it is a "sometime" food) It is served family style which is must less stressful than a buffet.

Lilo and Stitch are awesome and you also get to see Mickey! You will have a magical :wizard: time! Have fun.

I sure wish I was going so soon.

Ok- Heres the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.. for our breakfast

The good

Love the Poly
Loved the characters they really interact with kids and have a "parade" for kids to participate in
Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto characters on our trip in Oct 06
Stitch was so funny he really interacted with us, especially my DS#2 1yr and he couldnt stop hugging him:hug:

The Bad

didnt like the family style serving(they bring big cast iron plates of food like eggs, bacon, biscuits, fruit etc.. to the table)when your done they bring more
not crazy about food-have had much better elsewhere, I'm a picky eater and like a larger selection of things

The Ugly
DS #1 4yr was so scared of Stitch after having been on Stitches Great Escape he would hardly stay in his seat(under the table, or in the lobby) so we had to take turns eating:scared:

Ohana is our fave Character breakfast! We actually love that it is served family style and isn't a buffet. My Dh swears the food is hotter & fresher. We love the parade around the restaurant. My boys were thrilled that Lilo & Stitch were added to this breakfast last year (we went last March). This is the only breakfast we have scheduled for our upcoming April '07 trip. We also love going to the Poly hotel for this and then just jumping on the monorail to go to MK.

I did this breakfast in August 2006. It was wonderful!! I had such a great time I personally love Stich!! Oh yeah my DS5 loved it too.hahaha!

We love this breakfast. Its a lot of work with 3 kids to constantly do the buffets and wonder who's getting what and who is back at the table. This is relaxing and a nice change. Stitch was a great addition too! Fresh fruit last time we went was impeccable.. very fresh and crisp grapes, pineapple, melons...not soggy from sitting in a bowl on a buffet line. Food was hot and fresh. AND if its not simply ask for a new batch and I wouldnt aniticipate a problem. I ALWAYS request the main dining room and get it. We have had the same waitress a few times now...I think her name is Tina Marie?...she will do a song and dance for you if you ask ; ) Have fun! :woohoo:
