I would love to try O'Hanas for our trip the end of October. Our 2 girls are ages 8 and 6 and think they would love the atmosphere, hula dancing and coconut races. I reviewed the menus on allears.net. There was no kids menu. The adults would eat the food but my kids would not eat one thing ! My kids eat the typical hotdogs, chicken nuggets, pizza and fries. I know Disney restaurants will have other offerings sometimes that are not on the menu. Also, I thought I read their have been some recent changes to the menu. What are they ?

If you ask they can bring you kids meals, but I will tell you the food is good and my kids loved it. The meats are to die for, and my kids love love shrimp and salad..

When we went last month there was a little girl at the table next to us and her mom was able to order her macaroni and cheese

I'm sure if you ask they can bring you kids meals, but you probably won't need to.

Thanks for the replies so far. I looked under the menus on disboards and it does have a kids menu section and it states their are substitutes like chicken nuggets, burgers, grilled cheese and fries. It was also updates this past March. I am hoping my kids will try some of the other food ! Does anyone have an update on the menu changes. I believe they got rid of the sausage and potatoes.

Sausage has been replaced by skewered shrimp. Potatoes have been replaced by a noodle dish. Won tons have been replaced by potstickers.

My kids have had grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Just be sure to tell the server because most of them do not suggest those choices. We've eaten there twice, and both recommended letting the kids "try" the regular food. But I know my non-vegetable eating vegetarian isn't going to want any of the stuff there, so we just jumped right into the kid request which worked out.

I didn't realize O'Hanas has entertainment(hula dancing and cocunut racing.) Sounds FUN! I made a ressie for The Spirit of Aloha at the Polynesian. Anyone think that doing both of these dinners would be overkill? Recommend one over the other?

I almost booked a ressie at the Spirit of Aloha and so far I have decided against it seeing that it maybe more time away from the park. So I figured they may enjoy O'Hana's better and a table service dinner may be quicker than the Spirit of Aloha and not sure if they would be board.
