Hi all!
Okay, here is the scenario. DH2B and I will be having an intimate wedding at Disney World next fall so I'm trying to get all our dining arrangements organized in order to make ADRs. I've decided that a few nights prior to the wedding we will have dinner at Ohana's with our kids and all our parents (moms, dad, stepdad, girlfriend). Since it will be an "unofficial" rehearsal dinner, I'd like it to be special (plus, all those people together at once...I'm going to need some distractions!lol). Our resort and ceremony are at the Boardwalk, so we have 4hrs of limo time with our wedding package which we won't need on the big day; I figured we could use it then...only it puts a little bit of a time constraint on us, but I guess we can always catch a bus back if need be.
So here's my question: Should I try to make reservations a bit later (8pm or so) to be in the restaurant during the fireworks? Can you see them from most tables or only a few lucky ones? Or should I schedule it earlier (6:30 or 7pm) to time it so that we leave the restaurant in time to catch the fireworks (and water pageant) from the beach? How long does an average dinner take anyways? I'm drawing a blank...gosh you'd think I'd never eaten anywhere without a huge golden M on the side of the building!!
Any tips or suggestions?
Thanks so much for all your help!
