We are going to be at MK on a Tuesday , which is also a MNSSHP day. We won't be staying for the party, but want to maximize our time in MK. So.. we thought we would do dinner at Ohana's since I have heard wonderful things about it.

Now, are kids are 8 and 6. I was planning on a 7 pm ADR. Any thoughts on if we will get stuck waiting a long time after this? Some restaurants are worse than others. I think the kids will do ok with eating between 7 and 7:30, but any later than that may be a problem

THanks

I think your plan sounds fine. We have always enjoyed the dinner at O'Hana's. Service can be "hit or miss" as with any restaurant, but typically they move you pretty fast through here as the food is continuously coming around.

On a side note - you should check to see what time Wishes will be showing at the Magic Kingdom. We've always enjoyed viewing wishes from the Poly beach after our dinner at O'Hana's. With MNSSHP that night, though, they may not be showing wishes til 9pm (I forget what time they were at). So it might be too long of a wait.

On a MNSSHP night they don't have Wishes. It's a different show for the party.

Yes. Sorry. I should have said "Hallowishes". But I'm not sure what time it will be that night.

We did this last year with a 7PM ressie on a party night. We had about 1/2 hour wait. I would bump it up a bit to maybe 6:30 just to be safe if you are trying to keep the little kiddies in check.

MK was SO dead that day for us. It was amazing. No lines, no fastpass, it was just really empty. I believe the party was sold out that night, but the parks that day were amazingly dead. The reason I mention the crowds is because we got so much done and were looking for things to keep us busy until our ADR. I would have prefered an earlier time.
