This will be our first trip to WDW and we will be vising Sat 10/22 - Sat 10/29.
We are doing the DDP b/c we want to have some sit down dinners and our choices reflect where we have heard there is a good food, but also good atmosphere. My question is, are the dinner and b-fast at Ohanas different enough to warrant scheduling ADRs for both? We won't be doing any other CBs and thought it would be good to do that our first morning there (Sunday) to kick off our vacation. Also, b/c of other events scheduled throught the week (MNNSHP, Fantasmic, & Cali Grill w/wishes) the only nights that look to work for us for Ohanas is Monday night or our last night there (Friday). Would you visit Ohanas twice in two days (bfast & dinner) or do b-fast the first morning and dinner at Ohanas the last night. BTW, we are staying at the Poly. :)

Yes! Do both. They're very different. The character breakfast at ohana is tied for our favorite meal. Dinner is great, too, but no characters.

We haven't stayed at the poly but it's still worth it to us to jump through the disney transportation hoops to get to a late breakfast and late dinner every trip from port orleans. Ohana twice in two days isn't a problem for us.

Our other must do's are Crystal Palace CB and the Hoop-Dee-Doo.

Both Ohana brkfst & dinner are favorites of ours & we do both on our trips.

The breakfast is alot of fun - good character interaction with Lilo, Mickey, Pluto & Stitch. The characters lead a parade around the restaurant for kids who play maracas as they go around the room. The food is good and is served family style (mickey waffles, sausage, bacon, eggs, potatoes, warm breakfast breads, fruit).

Dinner is very good - lots of good side dishes - love the chicken wings. Meats (chicken, shrimp, steak, pork) are served off skewers and are quite good. There is also usually some form of entertainment going on such as coconut races, limbo contests, hula dancing, etc.
