My 60 day res window opened up this morning at 5 AM (Central Time) and I was able to get a dinner reservation at Ohana. They go incredibly fast! I think I got it at 5:01 AM. I wanted 8:00 but got 8:30 and that's ok. We haven't eaten there in the last 5 trips due to non-attention about reservations. Lol. Thanks to the tip from Luis who booked our trip a few months ago. I also booked our other restaurants for the trip as we always go to (mostly) the same ones every trip. I'm getting excited now!

Exciting!! 😸 I’m going to try when my window opens next month. Was yours for exactly 60 days or are you staying onsite and able to book 60+? I’d like ‘Ohana on my third night there so it would be 60+2. Fingers crossed.

Yes. Exactly 60 days. I am going with my daughter for 8 days and she flies home and I have 6 more days there by myself. I am an artist and I will probably spend time making small watercolors of the grounds and sights of POR Riverside.

Yes. Exactly 60 days. If you are in Eastern time it is exactly at 6:00 am. Have your credit card ready. I had to go into the other room to get mine out of my wallet and lost valuable seconds. LOL! Go on My Disney Experience to familiarize yourself with the interface so you know where to navigate to when you need to.

I’ve already added my card to MDE in anticipation haha. I actually want ‘Ohana for my third day of the trip so wonder if I need to get up at 6 since it’s actually 62 days out. Even at say 7.30am I would still have a two day head start over non resort guests.

You need to get up early and reserve on your 60 day mark if you want O'hana or any of the more popular restaurants. People staying on Disney property can reserve 60 days out plus, so for some people, that date has already been "open" for booking. You can wait, but you risk not getting a reservation or one at a strange time.

I will try to be on at 6am on my 60 day mark but I was happy to hear the OP got ‘Ohana exactly 60 days out since the date I want is actually 62 days out (my window will be 60+3) due to my 4 days/3nights staying on property. I think I understand it correctly but here is the timeline.
I will be staying from May 14-17 so my window should open on March 15 for the whole trip. I want ‘Ohana on my MK day which is May 16. No resort guests can’t book May 16th until March 17 so I will have a two day head start against them. Of course those with longer resort stays will have the chance to book ahead of me as well though.

I’ve been trying to get Ohana for 3/19 since our 60 day window. I got up at 3am to be ready to try and it was already completely gone when released. :-( I’ve got alerts set on every service. We always have a big family dinner there on one day of our trip. So sad we couldn’t get it this time!

I'm nor sure about more time allowed for those staying on site. Yes. I am at POR for two weeks. Can't wait!

Got on this morning for ADRs and I was surprised I saw so many times for Ohana available and grabbed a 6:55 pm ressie. I've never been successful in booking Ohana unless it was a 9-9:30 time slot so this is pretty new for me.

Wow! I need to keep checking. On my 60-day mark, I was only able to get a 9:45 pm reservation, which I don't plan on keeping unless I can find something earlier. I've been checking every day.

What date(s) are you looking for as I may be canceling?

Success! Got ‘Ohana at 60+2 when my window opened today. 8.30 time slot.

They do indeed go quick as I checked arrival day just for research and there was nothing. 60+1 only had the 9.30 or 4.50 which are crazy hours. It seems these hot ADRs are at least one benefit of staying onsite; I can’t imagine non-resort guests will have much success eating here unless it’s a last minute cancelation.

Ohana is really bad right now. The meats are inedible (tough dry) and the sauces are now teriyaki or something (no peanut sauce) and the beef was slathered in salty BBQ sauce (other tables around us left the meats untouched). If you are ok with the noodles (warm-cold) and dessert or have never been and don’t know what it was like, then go for it.

We lined up for the monorail when fireworks started and it still took us an hour to get there.
