'Ohana

Booking dining for my trip and staying a couple nights at the Poly so 'Ohana is on the schedule for dinner. I was going to try and see Hallowishes from the restaurant as it is most likely going to be a MNSSHP night, but the times for fireworks that night are 10:15 and we have a few little ones in our party. So my question is..... Is it worth it to wait until late and view Hallowishes from restaurant or should I be eating at a more reasonable time and watch Hallowishes from elsewhere? Thanks in advance for any help.

you can't see fireworks from 'Ohana or Kona. I believe you have to be out on the beach or facing that direction for a view.

There are only a few tables in 'Ohana that can see fireworks. I'd do a dinner time that works better for your family and then watch the fireworks from the beach or one of the longhouse stairwells.

When my DD was younger, there is no way we could have waited until 10:15 for dinner, or even fireworks. Only you know if it's worth dining that late with your kids, for the small possibility of seeing the fireworks from Ohana.

With small children, I think gambling that you'll get a better view at 'Ohana with children not melting down is not odds I would take.

As a point of clarification you can see Wishes from some tables inside 'OHana but not from Kona
But I agree with the others I would never plan dinner that late with little ones

I would plan an enjoyable dinner and then watch the fireworks on the beach or dock!

Agree with watching from the beach. You need to be near the walkway to hear the music.

We saw the fireworks from 'Ohana once, but it wasn't that great. They looked pretty small and far away. I would plan to watch from someplace else.
