I can't believe at 180 days out, I cannot get a dining reservation for 'Ohana. Looks like the only dinner we will be eating onsite is at Biergarten. What a shame.

I logged on at 6am on my 180 and could not get a reservation for dinner the first night unless I did 9:30pm. I was able to schedule for my last night. Everyone on the boards say to keep checking because people cancel up to 24 hours before their reservation. Good luck!

It's true that all you have to do is keep looking. People make and cancel reservations all of the time. Heck, 2 years ago I got BOG on Christmas Eve 3 weeks out. Also, there are threads on the board for people canceling dining for every month. I gave some away myself there. Look for it and it will help you out. :)

We got all our ADRs but except for Boma and Raglan Road, we tend to eat at resort signatures

Just snagged a reservation for 2 at 'Ohana for dinner at 6:45 on May 22. Keep trying!!

I'm sorry. I know how disappointing this is for you. Keep checking back because things change daily.

Did you try Open Table for Raglan? I *still* cannot get a reservation for 10/20 at Raglan through Disney (it has been saying "no availability" ALL DAY on that date), but they had tons of reservations available on Open Table.

I am in the same boat. With free dining, people are booking up reservations.
They book up with out the free dinning promo. Just keep checking back for reservations. Many people cancel dinning reservations as time gets closer . Even check back the last week before your trip.

you were not able to get an ADR at Boma?

oh misread - I was wondering wth was going on that you can't get Boma at 180 days!

Yes, sorry I was unclear. We have 8pm ADRs at Raglan Road on 11/5 and Boma on 11/8.

Definitely check a couple of times every day and something will open up. I first booked Ohana at 9:20pm, then 8:30pm and I finally ended up with a 6:30pm reservation. Good luck.

Set up a search on touringplans.com reservation finder. I was looking to change our Ohana ADR to earlier in the day after they announced the AK nighttime activities and it was booked solid every time I looked. I finally used Touring Plans reservation tool and within a week I was able to change my ADR twice and landed the exact time I was shooting for.

It's easy and free to set up a request, it will search periodically for a reservation, and then e-mail or text you if it finds something. I will not hold the reservation, just tell you that it is available for you to go in and book.

I second this recommendation. Highly recommend setting text alerts, and when you get one, drop everything to go snag the reservation.

Best of luck.

we got Ohana and Crystal Palace...two weeks before our dates...and then three days before going to Disney ..we changed the times to earlier...just keep on checking..

I never even 'try' to get my ressies until a few months out earliest. I usually have to try several times for 'Ohana, but we have always gotten one. If we were willing to take a late one, would have never had an issue, but we like to dine early - 5 ish. I just keep trying for cancellations - they happen 'very' frequently!

Definitely use the ADR finder from touring plans. It is great. This year is the first time in years that our trip did not fall during a free dining promo, so it was also the first year I was able to get an 'Ohana ADR for a time slot that I wanted instead of super late.

I keep trying for our vaca in sept and I am having no luck either :(

When you entered in your time, did you put a specific time or did you select "dinner?" They recently changed their dinner hours, starting at 3:30. We were able to snag a 3:50 dinner. It sounds RIDICULOUSLY early for us (we usually don't eat dinner until around 7:00 at home), but having been there before, knowing that there's usually a 1/2 hour wait to be seated, followed by a very slow moving dinner service, we figured we'd actually be digging into the meat portion probably closer to 5:00. And then the kids love to do the coconut races and dancing which can make it a late night. With the earlier res, we'll probably be out of there by 6:00/6:30 and ready to hit MK again. We figure we'll just have a bigger breakfast and a light early snack in place of lunch that day.
