I hear great reviews on Ohana, my question is, we have a coconut allergy in the family; the desert looks good, does this have coconut in...also should there be any other food(s) that we would have to worry about with the coconut allergy...
thank youpopcorn::

My Dis friend, you are in luck!! :goodvibes

Disney World is probably one of the best places to go with food allergies. ::yes::

When you book your dining (you are setting up reservations for where you want to you eat-right?) you need to let the cast member-CM know that you have food allergies and that they need to be posted to your ADR-Advance Dining Reservations. The chef will come out at each restaurant and let you know what you can have and what you can't have. :)

I don't know when you are going to WDW, but setting up dining reservations is a must. A lot of people set them 6 months in advance when there window comes open to be able to book them (your window opens 180 days out from when you will be staying on property). This is due to some places being in such high demand that you have to book them that far out, especially when you are going at a high volume time of year. And to be honest there seems to be more times that are high volume than not. :rolleyes:

Good luck! :thumbsup2

Yes, let them know about your food allergy when you check in. My mom has a pineapple allergy, and we thought there may be a bunch of things she couldn't eat there. The chef came out from the kitchen and explained what items were off limits (only a couple), and said that she didn't have to worry about any cross-contamination or anything.
