Can someone give me some insight about O'Hana? Hows the food, do you pick what you want or do you get a sampling of everything? What are the sides like? Good place for kids? Thanks!

You get a sampling of everything. It's a great place for kids, lots of singing, dancing & games.

'Ohana is my FAVORITE! They start by bringing out bowls of shrimp, salad, wonton chips & sauces, wings, and potatoes.

Then, they come around with the meat on skewers (sausage, pork, turkey, and steak).

You can have as much as you want of anything. Dessert is a bread pudding that is FANTASTIC (and I hate bread pudding).

They have limbo and coconut races for the kids. It is a fun place.

On allears it says special request on the menu for kids available...anyone know what they are?

I believe the kids can choose what Kona has on the kids menu but you pay the Ohana's price. Mine had chicken fingers. They were still able to eat what we had and ended up enjoying it.:thumbsup2
It's such a great place! We loved the food, service and games for the kids!

I loved the amosphere and the wings, but I found the rest of the meal to be too salty. So much so that I really couldn't eat much.

Other than that, it was fun.

Oh yum.. I cannot wait to eat there again. I thought the salad was delicious.
I am booked for Sept. but may try to go twice :)
I did not care for the Sausage skewers.. the servers come around with the skewers and if you do not want that particular one you just say no.. so I stuck with mostly the steak :)
The bread pudding dessert was to die for.. if you like lot's of caramel sauce.. OK I am hungry now :)

Just got my ressies...8:50 was the earliest dinner res available...Is that too late to eat with a six year old?

We love it here and will visit again in August!
The potatoes are soooooooo yummy!

On our vacation last year we went twice. We LOVE the food and atmosphere so much. It is delicious!

You will LOVE Ohana! I wish I could go today!
