We've only eaten breakfast there (but we have eaten there 2 times). For breakfast they serve Mickey waffles, breakfast potatoes, biscuits, fruit, sweet bread, scrambled eggs, bacon & sausage....juice, soda, etc. The character interaction is great!! Even my teenager liked it :thumbsup2

We are going to try it for dinner in September. You can see a menu at allearsnet.com - if you want to see WISHES! I would try to get there about an hour or 45 minutes before. Check the park calendar to see what time WISHES! is playing the night you want to eat at 'Ohana's.

Good Luck!

Have a great trip!

Well for you to see Wishes it would depend on what time of year you are going.. If Wishes is at 9 I would make the ADR around 7:20, thats what I did late Aug last yr and thats what Ive done for my trip this Aug. They serve wontons and special wings and salad as an appetizer and then bring you skewers of three or four different grilled meats and maui potatoes (scalloped) and stir fried veggies.. Then for dessert they bring this amazing bread pudding in banana foster sauce.. Go to www.wdwig.com and look under menus then go to Polynesian Resort and you will see Ohana.. Its a must do for our family we love it! They do hula hoop contests and races for the kids, last time a guy was playing the ukeleile (sp?) and singing it was very nice..Expect a wait even with ADR the place is popular but worth it! IMHO..

Ohana is one of my favorites. They changed the menu a while back, which some feel was not for the better - I tend to agree that the "old" menu was better, but I still love the "new" menu. It is a popular place so make sure you get an ADR.

They start by bringing out a bowl of salad (mixed lettuce with a lime/honey dressing) and fried wontons with 3 different dipping sauces. Then they bring out sticky chicken wings and sweet and sour shrimp.

For the main course they bring over skewers of steak, pork, turkey and sausage. For sides they have scalloped potatoes and stir fried peppers(I think?). Then for dessert they have bread pudding.

I've often timed my visit to watch Wishes - I usually try to get an ADR about 45min-1 hour before the show.

To be honest, it was our least favorite TS meal at WDW. The salad, wontons banana foster and chicken wings are wonderful, but the grilled meat is very plain and there is just way too much of it. We all left feeling uncomfortably stuffed. We'll be skipping O'Hanas on our 2007 trip. We had a much better meal at Kona Cafe next door.
