I called about making a PS at 'Ohana, and the CM started talking to me with an Irish accent, which was odd since he didn't have the accent for the whole beginning of the conversation. I asked him about that, jokingly, and he said people often spell 'Ohana as O'hanas, making it Irish instead of Polynesian! I asked him what the correct spelling/pronounciation is, and he said the apostrophe comes before the O, not after, and that there's no "s" at the end. I have my PS at 'Ohana. LOL!

CM Dan, did I get it right??

Thanks, I can't ever get that right!!!!!!!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_2v.gif' border=0></a>

I could never understand why posters continually write the restaurant's name as O'Hana's instead of 'Ohanas. It's the Polynesian Resort, not the Dublin Resort :)

The CM said even the "s" at the end is incorrect. Well excuse me! LOL

He said putting the "s" changes the meaning of the word, which is supposed to be a real word in a Polynesian language. So it's "I'd like a PS for 'Ohana.
We had a long discussion, about this, I guess Disney Dining wasn't too busy that day if he could spend 15 minutes talking to me about the proper way to spell/say 'Ohana!

It's the Polynesian Resort, not the Dublin Resort

OMGosh, that's what the CM said! ROFL

You are still wrong. It is 'Ohana. Drop the S!

Now to further complicate things, my receipt just has Ohana. There wasn't an apostrophe in front of the name.

Just as bad to me are those who call "Cinderella" princess: , "Cindy". She is a Princess, not a member of the Brady Bunch! I wonder how many people call and ask for a PS to "Cindy's"!! Makes me want to SCREAM!:crazy2: . Can't even bring myself to read the posts that have it wrong in the title!
