Hi everyone!

We are currently booked for early march and I’m thinking of changing it to over Easter break, Wed to Easter Sunday. Since the kids are off and it makes more sense for them, but I am worried about it being very busy. I don’t have any experience going over holidays so I’m not sure what to expect, if it’s most likely jam packed pools and restaurants then we will stick to march but figured I’d ask the pros!

This is a resort only stay and we are so looking forward to it!

Any input is appreciated!

I don't going during Easter break because it's crowded and more expensive. The only saving grace is that local schools are not on Spring Break during Easter, they are on break during St Patrick's Day week, but that makes St Patrick's Day week crowded too.

I have reservations to go the 1st week of March

We’re booked the first week of march too! Just hate the kids missing school as they get older but I also don’t want to take them during holidays, it’s a lose lose

We've gone for years over Easter just for Fort days. The pool is crowded but we've always found a spot if we go early. Lots of campsites have decorations and the Easter Sunday events are always fun for the kids. They end up with a ton of candy. Many sites have little Easter treats and my kids have loved to meet people by having our own treat station. The campground is often sold out but its never felt overwhelming. I feel that there used to be more events, in 2019 there was a very early morning 5k race around the Fort where one of my kids won a pontoon boat rental.

This just reminded me that I forgot to make reservations for next year so now I'm stalking the website.
