Ohana vs Kona

We have eaten at both. Stayed at the Poly last year and ate at Kona twice. I agree with the others, the food is better at Kona but Ohana is lots of fun and a must do at least once. If you can't get reservations, I think you will be happy with Kona

Glad to see Kona is just as popular. I can't get a decent dinner time for Ohanas. I keep checking online but no luck so far except for after 8:30. Too late for us.

We have done the walk-up many times - get there about 15-20 mins before the first seating and they should be able to accommodate you no problem. For me O'Hana kills Kona. I love the food they have at O'Hana and the atmosphere is way better. Yum!

Good thread. I already have an ADR at Ohana on our next trip, and was trying to choose another ADR near the MK. One of my concerns about Kona was that the food was too similar to Ohana, and it would feel like a repeat meal. I'm surprised that so many of you do both!

LOL, I have the opposite dilemma as you. I have an ADR at O'Hana and second guessing whether I should cancel for Kona Cafe instead.
